About This Role
The Aladdin Client Business is growing rapidly, with the volume and complexity of new client deals and strategic partnerships growing each year. We are at the next phase of our growth and are evolving into a platform focused business with multiple new product launches and external partnerships. Successful candidates will join in our efforts to help sophisticated investors onboard the world’s leading end-to-end operating system for investment portfolios to manage their whole portfolio, understand risk exposures, and act with precision.
We are looking for a candidate to join us in Director role within the Aladdin Client Transformation team with 10+ years of relevant work experience.

Your team:

The Aladdin Client Transformation is responsible for the installation and deployment of Aladdin, eFront, and related products and services, globally. Aladdin and eFront transformations are high-profile initiatives that require team members to have senior level exposure and play an active role in redefinition of investment organizations. A typical transformation project is at least as much about processes and implementing change as it is about investments & technology. We help clients achieve ambitious strategic objectives, which range from streamlining investment processes and workflows to integrating teams, to unifying their investment analytics & risk reporting framework, to modernizing their overall investment process. Aladdin’s transformation model is unique in the sense that we take full responsibility for the Client going live on our solution. It also means that we develop true partnerships with our clients at the most senior levels, which continue to grow post go live.

 

You will be joining as a Director level Delivery Lead within the Client Transformation team focusing on high value project delivery.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Lead complex transformations concerning Aladdin Enterprise or eFront Invest solutions

  • Understand client objectives and goals paired with strong emotional ownership to deliver solutions utilizing Aladdin or eFront capabilities

  • Engage with key client leaders to redesign and deploy strategic business workflows across the investment cycle

  • Collaborate with the client's senior management team and provide leadership throughout the Aladdin implementation

  • Document, standardize and help scale deliverables, such as investment workflow designs and analytics overviews for various asset classes, including equities, fixed income, alternatives, derivatives, etc.

  • Consult on behalf of our business primarily through our products

  • Aid in developing improved practices to make client transformations more efficient with each new project

  • Participate in Aladdin business development activities and manage client communications regarding implementation scoping and planning

  • Oversee Target Operating Model design for new clients

  • Actively oversee internal project plans, scope, resourcing, budgets, risks, issues, actions, and decisions using standard tools supported by partner teams

  • Ensure client-side project delivery risk is managed, and client activities are completed to meet baseline landmarks in the joint Aladdin/Client project plan

  • Oversee project change control, risks, issues, daily/weekly reporting, project resource tracking, and budget/finance tracking, while chairing project working groups and attending Steering Committees.

 

Your qualifications/experience:

  • Understanding of investment management with 10+ years of relevant industry experience

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders

  • Superior communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts simply and clearly to internal team members or clients

  • Well organized with the ability to manage several priorities with a hands-on approach

  • Enjoys a fast paced, high-intensity and complex environment, troubleshooting time critical issues and working with people

  • Strong attention to detail; willing to take proactive action, and desire to roll up sleeves

  • Experience working with global teams and stakeholders, with sensitivity to cultural differences and time zones

  • Excellent risk, issue, action, decision, and assumption management, along with budgeting, forecasting, maintenance, reporting, and management skills

 

Nice If You Have

  • Experience with institutional buy-side investment technology platforms

  • Working experience in investment organizations

  • Consulting experience

  • Experience with platform integrations (e.g., interfaces, APIs)

  • Experience in Target Operating Model design and implementation
