Job Summary:
Rag & bone is seeking a Director of Digital Analytics & Customer Insights to lead our data-driven strategy for understanding customer behavior and optimizing site performance. This role will own the analytics roadmap, ensuring actionable insights that drive conversion, engagement, and retention across digital channels. You will partner with marketing, product, site merchandising, and technology teams to deliver advanced analytics, reporting, and predictive modeling.
Responsibilities:
· Develop and lead the customer and site analytics strategy, aligning with business objectives and KPIs.
· Oversee implementation and governance of analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, PowerBI, ActionIQ).
· Analyze customer journeys, segmentation, and lifetime value to inform personalization and targeting strategies.
· Drive site performance analysis, including funnel optimization, A/B testing, and conversion rate improvement.
· Build customer dashboards and reporting frameworks for executive and operational teams.
· Lead attribution modeling and ROI analysis for marketing and site initiatives.
· Partner with data engineering to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
· Manage a team of analysts and foster a culture of data-driven decision-making.
· Stay ahead of industry trends in analytics, privacy regulations, and emerging technologies.
Qualifications:
· 8+ years of experience in digital and customer analytics, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
· Expertise in web analytics platforms (Google Analytics), CDP (ActionIQ), and data visualization tools (Looker, PowerBI).
· Strong understanding of eCommerce KPIs, customer behavior analysis, and site optimization.
· Experience with SQL and data manipulation; familiarity with predictive modeling and machine learning is a plus.
· Excellent communication skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
· Proven track record of building and leading high-performing analytics teams.
Preferred Skills:
· Experience with PowerBI and SQL
· Experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) and personalization engines.
· Experience with web analytics platforms (Google Analytics)
· Knowledge of privacy and data compliance (GDPR, CCPA).
· Familiarity with experimentation platforms.
· Familiarity with Shopify
· Strong business acumen and ability to translate insights into action.
