North America Energy Marketing Director

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

In this role, you’ll serve on the Energy Marketing leadership team and report directly to the Senior Director of North America Energy Brand Marketing. You’ll partner with Key City and Global Energy Marketing teams and work cross-functionally with teams such as Sales, Merchandising, Sports-Led Brand Marketing teams, Sports Marketing, Digital, Paid Media, Retail Marketing, Entertainment & Celebrity to bring world-class plans to life.

A successful candidate must clearly demonstrate and articulate their experience in the essential requirements listed below:

  • 8-10 years of experience in brand and/or brand functional management, with a strong focus on cross-functional marketing.
  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of experience, education and training.
  • Experience as a people leader who can bring others along and establish a positive working environment.
  • Experience in managing relationships with external partners.
  • Proven success in cultural marketing, particularly within fashion, art, design and streetwear communities, as well as a demonstrable understanding of the visionary consumer, and the nuances of North America culture and Nike's position within it.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation and project management skills with wide range of stakeholders, brand and business.
  • Strong aesthetic sensibility and ability to maintain cohesive brand presence across multiple channels.
  • Highly collaborative, adaptable, and passionate about the role of sport in shaping culture.

 

 

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

Overall, you will lead in creating and executing strategic end-to-end marketing plans for collaboration product launches & cultural moments, energize key brand sport initiatives, bring new ideas that push Nike in white spaces, and cultivate relationships with influential creatives, visionaries.

 

Specifically, you will be responsible for:

  • Building, developing, engaging and empowering a high-performing, diverse and agile marketing team
  • Facilitating and executing the Energy Marketing strategy in North America.
  • Creating & executing visionary marketing concepts aimed at pushing the intersections of sports and culture through creativity.
  • Developing and executing marketing plans for Nike’s global collaborator portfolio in partnership with external creatives, retail partners and internal teams.
  • Building strategic partnerships across fashion, art, design and streetwear to elevate Nike’s cultural footprint.
  • Manage the North America Energy Marketing budget, including forecasting, allocation and ongoing tracking, to ensure resources are strategically invested against priority initiatives, delivered within plan and optimized for maximum brand and business impact.
  • Drive sales and business integration by partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Merchandising and Marketplace teams to shape product portfolio priorities, align marketing strategies with commercial objectives and deliver a cohesive marketplace approach that supports brand relevance and business growth.
