The Director of Expert Marketing will architect the expert experience, transforming how world-class professionals perceive and interact with GLG, strengthening a loyal community through sophisticated lifecycle automation and high-touch brand moments, and launching new innovations in the expert experience to differentiate GLG.

The role requires creative thinker who will apply their deep expertise in lifecycle marketing to find fresh approaches that serve the unique opportunities within an expert network. Their approach will need to be highly collaborative, partnering across teams and geographies to achieve mission-critical results.

Responsibilities

· Build a deep understanding of our expert community, developing segmentation and leading the marketing strategy that will differentiate GLG, drive preference and engagement across our expert communities, inclusive of a content strategy for our expert population and defining its role in expert segment lifecycles

· Lead and implement segmented messaging and comprehensive, multi-channel marketing programs that drive awareness of experience improvements, new project opportunities, and adoption of desired expert engagement

· Collaborate with Product and Expert teams to map and automate expert journeys, identify drop-offs and friction points, and develop solutions throughout the user experience

· Develop marketing to support strategic recruitment initiatives and proactive brand-building in our most highly sought-after expert segments, including partnerships and referral programs

· Collaborate with Brand team to develop value-exchange opportunities where select experts can help build the GLG brand while gaining visibility as an expert, through channels such as earned media, thought leadership, event programming, and social media

· Build a data-driven process to optimize expert communication and experiences, including analyzing expert segment data, continual A/B testing, and leveraging expert feedback loops; set benchmarks and targets for KPIs including onboarding and project velocity, non-project engagement, retention, and sentiment

Requirements

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field

· 7+ years of progressive experience in marketing; proven track record of developing and executing successful lifecycle marketing strategies

· Strong analytical and research skills; ability to translate insights into actionable marketing strategies

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to direct teams and partners toward strategic and creative outcomes

· Fluency in core mar-tech tools, including marketing automation, CRM, and analytics

· Experience managing multiple campaigns and initiatives across markets simultaneously, ensuring flawless execution, including managing agency relationship

· Highly collaborative and results-oriented; ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed, and global environment

· Experience in two-sided marketplace businesses and/or the research, data, or business information industry is preferred

Compensation: GLG is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Actual compensation is based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. Certain roles may also be eligible for incentive compensation.

The anticipated hiring base salary range for this role is:
$122,700$165,000 USD
