About the Role

We're looking for a Director of Finance to own financial operations and build our FP&A function. This is a hands-on role—you'll run the numbers, not just review them.

You'll be the financial architect as we scale through our next growth phase. From monthly close to Series B/C preparation, you'll provide the insights and rigor that enable smart decision-making across the business. This role reports directly to the CEO and will be critical to our fundraising, planning, and operational excellence.

What You'll Do
  • Manage monthly close process and cash management to ensure accuracy and timely reporting

  • Build and maintain comprehensive budget vs. actuals reporting that drives accountability

  • Create board financial packages that clearly communicate company performance and trajectory

  • Build cohort economics models, CAC/LTV analysis, and scenario planning for strategic decisions

  • Prepare financial materials for Series B/C fundraising, including investor presentations and data room documentation

  • Manage Controller relationship and coordinate audit preparation

  • Develop financial forecasting models that account for multiple revenue streams (B2C, B2B, partnerships)

  • Partner with leadership on resource allocation, hiring plans, and investment decisions

  • Implement financial systems and processes that scale as the company grows

  • Monitor key metrics and provide actionable insights to executive team

Who You Are
  • 7+ years of finance experience in high-growth startups, ideally through multiple stages of scaling

  • Strong hands-on financial modeling skills—you build models from scratch, not just review them

  • Experience creating and presenting board-level financial reporting

  • Familiarity with both SaaS/subscription and transactional revenue models

  • Strategic thinker who can translate financial data into business insights

  • Detail-oriented with uncompromising standards for accuracy and integrity

  • Strong business partner who understands how finance enables company strategy

  • Excellent communicator who can explain complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to build infrastructure in a fast-moving environment

Nice to Have
  • Healthcare industry finance experience and understanding of healthcare unit economics

  • Experience supporting companies through multiple fundraising rounds (Series A, B, C+)

  • CPA, CFA, or equivalent professional certification

  • Familiarity with multi-sided marketplace economics

  • Experience with revenue recognition for complex healthcare arrangements

  • Background with AI/ML or deep-tech companies

  • Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement models and payer dynamics
