What You’ll Do  
Project Management: 45% | Professional Writing, Content Creation – 45% | Outreach: 10% 

 
The director for Growth supports the EVP in project management of all new business workstreams and pitch activity, and outreach. This role is critical for ensuring all deliverables are met in a timely and effective manner. They play a key role in the management of RFIs/RFPs and outreach management. This person must manage RFI submissions, preparing relevant research and insights, and coordinating the pitch process across multiple teams and stakeholders. They will work closely with senior leadership across the organization (and other COEs). 
 
Detailed responsibilities: 

RFP Strategy 

  • Eventually lead partnership with BST leadership on strategic assignment development 

  • Case Study mangement: copy, consistency, orgnanization 

  • Help pitch team organize content to enhance storytelling; identiy gaps and areas for improvement 

  • Strategic sounding board for BST, creative ideation Support 

  • Ensure RFP objectives and brand challenges are being addressed 

  • Collaborate with Design team and TBD PM to ensure pitch team is operating within established timelines 

 

RFP Content Support and Management 

  • Support tone & stylistic continuity for new business content 

  • Manage & organize written content: saving plan, identify opportunities for enhancement, updating 

  • Eventually lead RFI development; ensure accuracy in final submissions 

  • Collaborate with Design to ensure RFI and written deliverables are being completed per established timelines 

  • Create/Maintain Database of all RFP’s Best Answers and a library of all materials for easy access 

Project Management 

  • Help to manage all active pitches and ensure process timelines are being adhered to 

  • Establish timelines and calendar invites for active pitches 

  • Manage day-of pitch logistics; collaborate with vendors, hospitality, EA's to ensure all day-of needs are in place 

  • Help to ideate creative engagement opportunities for pitches 

  • Oversee calendars and set up key pitch meeting dates  

 

Who You Are 

  • Must be a self-starter and motivated to grow the business 

  • Must have exceptional organizational skills and thrive on managing multiple projects 

  • Able to multitask while exhibiting great attention to detail 

  • Must have strong intrapersonal skills, and be confident in managing talent of diverse seniority to ensure deadlines are met 

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret information from a variety of sources, such as trade journals, research reports, white papers and cross-tabulated survey data.  

  • Ability to write business briefs, case studies and general business correspondence.  

  • Must be able to work well under pressure, ‘remain calm amidst chaos’ 

  • Strong people skills 

  • Must be deadline-oriented 

 

Preferred Skills & Experience 

  • 6+ years of experience in new business / business development capacity / media strategy 

  • MS Office, spreadsheets, Internet software, E-mail/Teams 

  • Bachelor’s degree required 

  • Interest in marketing, advertising and/or media 

  • Flexibility with work hours – late nights and/or weekends may be necessary

Salary Range

$140,000.00 - $165,000.00
