Head of Sales

Multi-Market Restoration Sales Leadership
About Implement4

Implement4 is a recruitment agency working on behalf of a growing restoration and reconstruction company seeking a Head of Sales to lead, build, and scale a multi-market sales organization.

This is a confidential search. Company-identifying details will be shared with qualified candidates later in the process.

The Opportunity

This is a hands-on sales leadership role for someone who can build structure, develop people, and still personally drive meaningful revenue. The company is growing across multiple markets and needs a sales leader who can turn a developing, founder-led sales function into a scalable and accountable revenue engine.

The Head of Sales will lead the current sales team, help hire and onboard additional salespeople, create consistent sales operating rhythms, build channel-specific playbooks, and personally develop larger commercial, regional, and national account relationships.

This is not a corporate oversight role. The right person must be comfortable operating as a true player-coach: leading from the front, coaching in the field, holding reps accountable, improving CRM discipline, and stepping directly into major account opportunities when needed.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership and Team Development
  • Lead, coach, and hold accountable a multi-market sales team

  • Run structured weekly one-on-ones, pipeline reviews, sales meetings, and field ride-alongs

  • Establish clear activity expectations, pipeline standards, reporting discipline, and follow-up cadence

  • Improve CRM usage, forecast accuracy, conversion tracking, and sales accountability

  • Identify underperformance early and address it quickly with clear expectations and measurable improvement plans

  • Coach salespeople across residential, commercial, agent, broker, property management, and large-loss channels

  • Build a consistent sales culture across multiple markets while allowing for local market differences

Hiring, Onboarding, and Sales Infrastructure
  • Help recruit, screen, interview, and hire additional sales representatives as the company grows

  • Build a structured onboarding and ramp plan for new sales hires

  • Develop role profiles by channel and market so the company hires the right sales talent

  • Create training, scripts, scorecards, activity expectations, and first-90-day success plans

  • Ensure new reps have the tools, coaching, and leadership support needed to produce quickly

  • Build repeatable sales processes that can support future market expansion

Large Commercial, Regional, and National Accounts
  • Personally develop and close larger commercial, regional, and national account opportunities

  • Build relationships with property managers, facility managers, commercial real estate groups, insurance professionals, brokers, carrier contacts, and other high-value referral partners

  • Create a pipeline of commercial relationships that can generate restoration opportunities when losses occur

  • Develop a repeatable process for converting commercial relationship agreements or preferred-vendor relationships into actual jobs

  • Represent the company at industry events, client meetings, and high-value relationship opportunities

  • Support sales reps in strategy, pursuit planning, and closing larger opportunities

Residential, Agent, and Broker Channel Strategy
  • Lead the strategy for agent, broker, and residential referral channels across multiple markets

  • Reactivate dormant accounts and improve the quality of referral partner follow-up

  • Ensure reps are building meaningful relationships with insurance agents, independent brokerages, captive offices, and other local referral sources

  • Track referral-to-job conversion, average job value, account activity, and channel performance

  • Build market-specific plans for residential, broker, and commercial growth

Marketing and Sales Operations
  • Partner with leadership to align marketing efforts with sales priorities

  • Help evaluate local market campaigns, digital presence, brand positioning, and lead generation efforts

  • Ensure marketing activity supports sales activity and produces leads the team can convert

  • Manage sales reporting, pipeline visibility, forecast accuracy, and performance updates for ownership

  • Develop a cadence for cross-market best-practice sharing

  • Implement win/loss reviews to improve future sales execution

  • Build and maintain practical sales playbooks by channel and market

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a restoration, construction, insurance services, or property-services sales leader who has built sales teams, not just inherited them. This person should understand referral-driven selling, commercial account development, insurance-related sales cycles, and the need for disciplined activity management.

The right person must be equally comfortable coaching a newer rep, reviewing CRM activity, hiring sales talent, presenting performance data to ownership, and personally helping close a major commercial account.

Strong candidate backgrounds may include:

  • Restoration sales leadership

  • Multi-market restoration business development leadership

  • Commercial restoration sales

  • Regional sales management

  • Construction or insurance-services sales leadership

  • Property-services sales leadership

  • Franchise or multi-location service business sales leadership

  • Home services or emergency services sales management

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role means the company has a stronger, more accountable, and more scalable sales organization.

The right Head of Sales will:

  • Improve sales activity discipline and CRM compliance

  • Create clear performance standards across all markets

  • Help existing reps produce more consistently

  • Recruit and ramp new salespeople faster

  • Build commercial, regional, and national account opportunities

  • Improve referral partner conversion rates

  • Create repeatable channel-specific sales playbooks

  • Give ownership better visibility into sales performance, forecasting, and market opportunity

  • Help the company grow without relying on informal or personality-driven sales habits

Required Experience

Qualified candidates should bring:

  • 7+ years of sales experience

  • 3+ years of sales management or sales leadership experience

  • Experience in restoration, construction, insurance services, property services, or another closely related industry

  • Proven ability to build, coach, and scale a sales team

  • Experience managing both residential and commercial sales channels

  • Strong CRM discipline and pipeline management ability

  • Experience managing activity metrics, conversion rates, sales forecasts, and performance accountability

  • Ability to work across multiple markets and lead remote or distributed salespeople

  • Willingness to travel regularly across assigned markets

  • Strong communication skills with sales reps, ownership, customers, referral partners, and executive leadership

Preferred Experience

Preferred but not required:

  • Restoration industry sales leadership experience

  • Experience in a franchise, multi-location, or multi-market service business

  • Existing relationships with property managers, insurance professionals, brokers, carrier contacts, or commercial decision-makers

  • Experience selling or leading teams in water mitigation, fire restoration, mold remediation, reconstruction, or large-loss restoration

  • Experience integrating newly acquired teams or entering new markets

  • IICRC certifications or restoration-specific training

  • Experience presenting sales performance and strategy to ownership or executive leadership

Compensation

Compensation will include a base salary plus performance-based incentives tied to measurable sales and growth objectives. Final compensation details will be discussed with qualified candidates and will be aligned with experience, leadership capability, and expected impact.

Why This Role Is Compelling

This is a high-leverage leadership opportunity for someone who wants to build the sales function of a growing restoration business. The company has multiple markets, existing sales talent, growth investment, and a clear need for a leader who can create structure, accountability, and repeatable revenue growth.

For the right person, this role offers direct access to ownership, meaningful influence over growth strategy, the ability to build a larger sales team, and the opportunity to shape the sales infrastructure of a company still early in its next stage of expansion.
