We are seeking a Director, Marketing – Development and Power & Infrastructure to serve as Link's expert storyteller and messaging leader for its growing industrial, power, energy, and data center development platform. This role owns product marketing, content development, and communications/PR support for the development segment of Link's portfolio, translating complex technical and engineering concepts, power availability, site infrastructure, and data center requirements, into compelling narratives for customers, brokers, site selectors, and internal stakeholders.

Reporting to the Vice President, Portfolio Marketing & Strategy within the Corporate Communications function, this individual will execute against marketing and communications strategy set by Portfolio Marketing and Corporate Communications leadership, working independently and cross-functionally to bring that strategy to life across development, power infrastructure, and data center initiatives nationwide.

This role is ideal for a subject-matter expert and storyteller who can operate as a credible, fluent voice on industrial real estate development, power, energy, and data center topics, both internally and externally, while partnering closely with Development, Power & Infrastructure, Leasing, and Corporate Communications teams.

Responsibilities:

Product Marketing & Storytelling

  • Lead product marketing, positioning, and storytelling for Link's industrial development platform, with a focus on power-served sites, data centers, and advanced manufacturing opportunities
  • Translate technical and infrastructure-related information, including power availability, utility capacity, site readiness, and construction timelines, into clear, compelling, customer-facing narratives
  • Develop marketing collateral, presentations, case studies, and thought leadership content that positions Link as a credible, knowledgeable player in the power and data center development space. Ability to create and execute the storytelling through multi-media and mediums
  • Collaborate closely with Corporate Affairs and Community Engagement initiative teams to develop go-to-market messaging on power, energy, and data center topics
  • Maintain working knowledge of development timelines, entitlement, and permitting milestones to ensure marketing content reflects accurate project status

Communications & Stakeholder Support

  • Execute strategic communications support for Development and Power & Infrastructure pursuits, in partnership with Corporate Communications and external agency partners, against strategy set by Corporate Communications leadership
  • Develop presentations and supporting materials for public meetings, municipal engagements, and government-facing initiatives tied to entitlement, zoning, and permitting processes
  • Support Corporate Communications on earned media, executive communications, and reputation-building efforts related to Link's Development and Power & Infrastructure platform

Brand Adherence

  • Ensure Development and Power & Infrastructure marketing content adheres to Link's existing brand guidelines and visual identity standards

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Work closely with Development and Power & Infrastructure teams to stay current on project pipelines, technical developments, and site-specific details that inform marketing content
  • Manage external agencies, consultants, and creative partners supporting Development and Power & Infrastructure marketing content
  • Partner with regional marketing teams to support development-focused marketing events (open houses, groundbreakings, ribbon cuttings, broker events), with regional teams leading execution and this role providing subject-matter content and messaging support
  • Partner with internal leasing teams and external brokerage partners on project marketing materials for industrial warehouse, power-enabled and data center opportunities
  • Assume additional responsibilities and support special projects as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Engineering, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in product marketing, technical marketing, or communications, with demonstrated expertise translating complex technical concepts into clear, compelling content
  • Proven experience as a storyteller and content leader, with a track record of developing narratives, case studies, and thought leadership for technical or infrastructure-driven products through multi-media storytelling and content creation
  • Practical understanding of data center infrastructure and operations (power delivery, electrical and mechanical systems, site requirements); background in electrical or mechanical engineering is a strong plus
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to represent the company credibly with technical, executive, and public-sector audiences
  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally, partnering with technical, development, and communications teams without requiring close direction
