NYC Alliance Company LLC is seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Men’s Sales to lead and expand our men’s apparel business. This role will drive revenue growth, oversee key national accounts, and shape the long-term sales strategy within the men’s category. The ideal candidate brings deep industry expertise, strong executive presence, and a proven ability to scale business across major retail partners. The Director of Men’s Sales will be responsible for the sales strategy for the men’s division, managing senior-level retail relationships, identifying new market opportunities, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure product-market alignment. This role plays a critical part in revenue forecasting, account expansion, and organizational growth. Wholesale apparel experience is required for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the strategic vision and long-term growth plan for the men’s apparel division

• Lead, mentor, and manage the men’s sales team to achieve and exceed revenue and margin targets

• Own and strengthen executive-level relationships with key retail partners and national accounts

• Identify and secure new business opportunities, distribution channels, and market segments

• Partner with merchandising, design, marketing, and operations teams to align product assortments with customer and market demand

• Drive annual sales planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes

• Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and consumer insights to inform strategic decisions

• Oversee pricing strategies, margin optimization, and promotional planning

• Represent the company at major trade shows, industry events, and executive buyer meetings

• Provide leadership in negotiating large-scale contracts and long-term partnerships


Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, or related field (MBA preferred)

• 10+ years of progressive experience in men’s apparel sales, including senior or leadership-level roles

• Demonstrated success managing high-volume national retail accounts

• Strong understanding of men’s fashion trends, retail buying cycles, and consumer behavior

• Proven ability to develop and execute strategic growth initiatives

• Exceptional leadership, communication, and executive negotiation skills

• Advanced proficiency in retail analytics, forecasting, and sales performance tools

• Highly strategic, results-driven, and capable of influencing cross-functional stakeholders
