Your work environment at EXP

In this role, you will be a part of the Northeast Sector, and will be expected to take on a leadership role and provide planning, design and construction management services to a wide variety of clients throughout the northeast market.  With a unique multidisciplinary team approach, EXP has a history of successfully delivering some of the most complex infrastructure projects for all types of roadway, bridge, water resource, rail, transit and aviation projects. We are currently looking to enhance our client base within multiple markets and are looking for a dynamic, well respected industry leader.

 

What a day at EXP has in store for you

  • Identify, market, and procure projects from a diverse client base

  • Leverage pre-existing relationships to enhance EXP’s delivery teams

  • Manage internal and external client relationships for both new and existing clients

  • Lead and manage current project teams from bid until completion, while looking to obtain future business while performing own project duties

  • Supervise and manage the overall direction and work products of a team, including hiring, training, utilization and other daily functions

  • Engage, mentor, and motivate junior staff through counsel, goal setting guidance and knowledge transfer

  • Plan, schedule and coordinate the preparation of documents or activities for multiple simultaneous projects

  • Provide quality oversight and reviews of deliverables produced by staff.

  • Serve as the Project Manager on significant or strategic projects

  • Assist in developing processes and provide input on achieving operational excellence while growing a practice 

  • Review project changes, pending or anticipated alterations to contracts, additional work requests, and all other factors, which may significantly affect staffing requirements or budgets 

  • Act as a technical specialist for the organization in the application of advanced concepts, principles, and methods in an assigned area

  • Represent the organization in the community and appropriate professional societies

  • Work with other regional leaders across EXP’s Sectors to solidify client relationships, pursuit opportunities and execution of projects

 

What your experience looks like

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in AEC operations with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Must have demonstrated experience with a wide range of projects

  • Must have demonstrated relationships with a wide variety of existing and potential new clients

  • A proven track record of innovation, leadership, and creativity

  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to lead and develop a team and work within a team environment

 

 

The pay range for this role is $150,000 to $250,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
