Where Medicine Meets Intelligence

Doctronic is the first AI legally authorized to practice medicine. We're processing millions of consultations monthly with 99%+ treatment plan accuracy validated by board-certified clinicians.ng lives.

About the Role

We're looking for a Director of Operations to own operational infrastructure and ensure the company runs smoothly as headcount doubles and complexity increases. You'll be the operational backbone that enables every team to move fast without breaking things.

This is a high-impact, high-visibility role reporting directly to the CEO. You'll touch everything from vendor management to board preparation, cross-functional processes to internal systems. Your work will create the operational leverage that allows us to scale efficiently while maintaining our quality bar in a regulated healthcare environment.

What You'll Do
  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts across technology, facilities, legal, finance, and operations

  • Oversee office operations and remote work infrastructure to support a distributed team

  • Improve cross-functional processes that enable teams to collaborate effectively and move quickly

  • Support board preparation and maintain operating cadence (OKRs, all-hands, leadership meetings)

  • Drive cross-functional initiatives that don't fit neatly into a single department

  • Build internal systems, documentation, and playbooks that codify how we work

  • Partner with leadership on resource planning, organizational design, and strategic projects

  • Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions before they slow us down

  • Ensure compliance with operational requirements for SOC 2, HIPAA, and other regulatory frameworks

  • Own special projects and CEO priorities that require operational rigor

Who You Are
  • 5+ years of operations leadership experience in fast-scaling startups

  • Proven track record supporting companies through rapid headcount growth (20 to 100+ employees)

  • High agency and low ego—you find what needs doing and do it, regardless of job description

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and context-switching between diverse operational challenges

  • Exceptional project manager who can juggle multiple priorities without dropping balls

  • Strong systems thinker who builds scalable processes, not one-off solutions

  • Excellent communicator and cross-functional collaborator who earns trust across teams

  • Detail-oriented executor with strategic thinking ability

  • Resourceful problem-solver who finds creative solutions with limited resources

Nice to Have
  • Healthcare compliance awareness and understanding of regulated operations

  • Experience with SOC 2 and HIPAA operational requirements

  • Background in tech or healthcare startups navigating growth and complexity

  • Familiarity with board operations and investor relations

  • Experience implementing operational systems and tools (project management, documentation, communication platforms)

  • Understanding of clinical operations or healthcare delivery models

  • MBA or equivalent business operations training
