Who are we hiring

The Director Procurement – Corporate Services is part of a team responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies across approximately $300M in global indirect spend across the MSG Family of Companies. This role drives enterprise value through strategic supplier management, commercial optimization, demand management, and process improvements.

The Director will lead sourcing initiatives across categories such as HR, finance, marketing, creative production, professional services, office services, travel, and other indirect goods and services (non-IT), while partnering closely with executive stakeholders across these functions and others as needed.

This role is responsible for delivering measurable cost savings, improving supplier performance, and strengthening procurement governance across the indirect spend portfolio.

What will you do? 

Category Strategy & Commercial Leadership

  • Develop and execute multi-year category strategies across $300M+ of indirect goods and services spend.
  • Identify and deliver cost savings, cost avoidance, and value creation opportunities through strategic sourcing initiatives.
  • Lead complex negotiations and competitive sourcing events (RFPs/RFIs) with key suppliers.
  • Evaluate total cost of ownership and commercial models to optimize enterprise value.

Supplier Management & Performance Optimization

  • Establish and manage strategic supplier relationships across key indirect spend categories.
  • Implement supplier performance management programs including KPIs, SLAs, and QBRs.
  • Drive supplier innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Stakeholder Partnership

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders across HR, finance, marketing, creative production, and other corporate functions.
  • Align procurement strategies with business objectives and budget targets.
  • Provide market intelligence and benchmarking to inform business decisions.

Process Improvement & Procurement Governance

  • Drive improvements in procurement processes, contract management, and spend visibility.
  • Increase procurement adoption across indirect spend categories.
  • Implement demand management and supplier consolidation strategies.
  • Ensure consistent sourcing methodologies and best practices are applied across all initiatives.

Risk Management & Compliance

  • Ensure supplier contracts comply with corporate policies and risk management standards.
  • Partner with Legal and Finance to mitigate contractual and financial risks.
  • Provide exceptional experiences for our guests, partners, and team members, including by adhering to our appearance and presentation guidelines while on-site.  

What do you need to succeed? 

  • 7+ years of strategic sourcing or procurement experience
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred
  • Significant experience managing indirect spend categories including HR, finance, marketing, and/or creative production services
  • Experience leading complex negotiations and large-scale sourcing initiatives
  • Advanced negotiation and commercial strategy skills
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication ability
  • Experience with supplier performance management frameworks
  • Data-driven decision making and financial analysis
  • Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred

Pay Range
$113,000$210,000 USD
