ABOUT THE TEAM

The Supply Chain & Logistics team builds and operates the networks that move materials from suppliers to production to customers. The group manages procurement, supplier relationships, inventory, warehouse operations and logistics to ensure the right components arrive at the right place at the right time.

Working closely with engineering, manufacturing, and accounting, the team ensures that items can be sourced, parts can be built at scale, and systems move efficiently through the supply chain as the company grows.

ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for a Director of Procurement to join our growing team in the Dallas / Ft. Worth Metro Area, TX.

This role owns the procurement function responsible for securing the materials, components, and supplier partnerships required to support development and production. You will build and lead the processes, supplier network, and purchasing discipline needed to scale manufacturing while maintaining cost, quality, and delivery performance.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Define and execute the company’s procurement strategy to support rapid growth and production scaling.

  • Lead sourcing, supplier selection, and contract negotiations while building strong relationships with key suppliers.

  • Partner with engineering and manufacturing to ensure parts can be sourced and produced at scale from prototype through production.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in procurement or supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within technology, defense, or energy industries.

  • Proven track record in managing multimillion-dollar procurement budgets and achieving measurable cost savings.

  • Deep knowledge of defense procurement regulations and experience with government contracts or classified projects.

  • Expertise in procurement software and data analytics tools.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Local to or willingness to relocate to Dallas/ Ft. Worth metro area.

  • Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Certifications such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional).

  • Experience with agile procurement methodologies in fast-paced tech environments.

  • Familiarity with emerging technologies like additive manufacturing or AI in supply chains.

  • Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in risk assessment and scenario planning.
