We are seeking a Director of Product Marketing that has deep expertise in advertising technology and data solutions to lead go-to-market strategy and product positioning for Publishers and Platforms. 

Responsibilities

  • Lead product marketing strategy for publishers and platform customers, including measurement, audience targeting and other data solutions, ensuring commercial readiness across multiple markets.
  • Develop clear, compelling messaging and positioning for highly technical audiences, including data scientists, ad tech buyers, and platform decision-makers.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on industry trends such as signal aggregation, privacy legislation, and the evolution of deterministic vs. probabilistic data matching.
  • Partner with Sales and Partnerships teams to drive adoption of Samba’s data integrations with clean rooms, DSPs, SSPs, and other platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management to shape roadmap decisions, define competitive differentiation, and identify market opportunities across identity, interoperability, and privacy-safe targeting
  • Create high-impact product collateral and partner sales materials tailored to ecosystem-specific needs 
  • Contribute to thought leadership efforts including whitepapers, conference presentations, and analyst briefings focused on data innovation and interoperability.
  • Provide internal training and strategic sales support to ensure consistency and confidence in messaging across teams.

Requirements

  • 5–10 years of product marketing experience in ad tech or data-driven SaaS, with a strong focus on data monetization or activation.
  • Deep understanding of data solutions, identity resolution, audience targeting across across advertising and media.
  • Proven ability to translate complex data and platform capabilities into clear, differentiated positioning that resonates with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Experience working with or within ad tech ecosystems, and familiarity with partners like LiveRamp, Snowflake, Databricks, Google, Amazon, or The Trade Desk.
  • Exceptional writing and storytelling skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, especially with Product, Sales, Partnerships, and Communications teams.
  • Comfortable navigating a fast-paced, high-growth environment with evolving product lines and market dynamics.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
