Your Role at impact.com:

The Director, Solutions Consultancy will lead a team of solutions consultants responsible for designing and delivering technical solutions that meet the strategic objectives of affiliate partners. This role bridges business needs and technology, ensuring that affiliates' technical environments are optimized to support growth, innovation, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, technical, and interpersonal skills.

What You'll Do:Leadership & Management:

  • Lead and manage a team of solutions consultants, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance management.
  • Establish value-based technical sales approach highlighting the business outcomes our technology delivers
  • Develop and execute strategic plans for the team aligned with organizational goals.
  • Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and problem-solving.
  • Act as the primary liaison between sales and internal technical teams.

Solution Design:

  • Oversee the solution design and onboarding hand-off of scalable, secure, and reliable technical solutions for customers.
  • Ensure that all solutions align with enterprise architecture standards and best practices.
  • Conduct technical reviews and approvals of proposed solutions.
  • Advocate for innovative technologies and approaches to meet customer needs.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with customer and prospect stakeholders to understand business challenges and opportunities.
  • Translate business requirements into actionable technical strategies and solutions.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including product development, IT, marketing, and operations, to deliver on commitments.

Project Delivery:

  • Oversee the successful delivery of internal projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.

Develop and maintain documentation related to solutions consultancy and product demonstrations. 

Technical Expertise:

  • Stay updated on emerging technologies, trends, and best practices.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in platform solutions for partnership marketing programs
  • Provide hands-on technical support and guidance as needed.

What You Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Technology, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred), or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of experience in pre-sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience working with affiliate programs, partner networks, or multi-tenant systems is highly desirable.

Technical Skills:

  • Expertise in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Strong understanding of software development, system integration, APIs and data exchange.
  • Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).

Salary range: $195K-$227,500 OTE potential total on target earnings (base + 30% commission), per year, plus eligibility to receive Restricted Stock Unit (RSU) grant.
