Expand the CB Insights relationship across strategic accounts.

CB Insights has successfully sold many accounts into the Fortune 500 and beyond. The Director of Strategic Accounts will work closely with Sales and Customer Success to identify prime opportunities to expand relationships and execute a “land and expand” sales plan to increase our reach within these organizations. This is an incredible opportunity to interact with enterprise clients at the highest levels in an effort to grow our presence among the world’s leading organizations including Cisco, Salesforce, Comcast and many more we can’t name publicly.

This role initially reports into one of our founders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify cross-sell opportunities within key accounts (Fortune 500 and beyond)
• Work closely with Customer Success to identify individuals at those firms from which to expand relationships
• Design and execute outreach plans that clearly articulate our value proposition and incentivize introductions within organizations
• Close deals ranging into the six figures, working against an aggressive yet highly rewarding quota system
• Report up to senior management on what is going well and where help is needed
• Ultimately author the CB Insights “land and expand” playbook, and once proven, build out a team to execute your plans

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• 4+ years of in sales and/or business development role within an enterprise SaaS / software organization
• Experience selling upwards of $1 million ARR per year
• Expertise with CRMs, preferably Salesforce
• Impeccable verbal and written communication / presentation skills
• People leadership experience preferred, but not necessary
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
