Welcome to Fi.
We’re a passionate team from Square, Google, Oura, Peloton, Uber, and more working to transform the human-pet relationship. Our mission? Develop cutting-edge technology to revolutionize what it means to be a pet parent. The pet industry remains firmly stuck in the past and we are here to change that. Fi is leveraging our team's talent and expertise to improve the lives of millions of pets in the U.S. Real-time location tracking, activity, sleep and behavior monitoring – and that's just the beginning.
The most exciting aspect of our work? Bridging the communication gap between pets and humans. Imagine a world where everyone knows how their pet feels in real time and how to keep their best friend in good shape. That's the future we're building at Fi.
If you're someone who thrives in innovative, collaborative work environments and feels strongly about helping pets live longer, better lives, Fi could be the perfect fit. Join us in our pursuit of the “impossible,” or as we call it here “let me find a way,” to redefine the future of pet ownership together.
Fi is looking for a Director of Supply Chain and Logistics!
Fi is looking for a Director of Supply Chaing and Logistics to build and run the operational backbone behind Fi's physical product business, demand planning, sourcing, and cross-functional execution that keeps us ahead of customer demand and ready for what's next. This isn't a maintain-the-system role. You're setting the standard as we grow.
What You'll Do:
- Lead high-impact initiatives spanning new channel readiness, operational scalability, inventory efficiency, and cost reduction
- Build frameworks and models for scenario planning, financial sensitivity analysis, and operational trade-off decisions
- Define and track operations KPIs, build executive dashboards, and turn raw data into insight leadership can act on
- Own demand forecasting, pulling inputs from Sales, Marketing, Product, and Finance across channels (DTC, Amazon, retail) and product lines (hardware, accessories, consumables)
- Lead the S&OP cadence, balancing forecast risk against supply commitments so demand signals flow cleanly into inventory, production, and supplier decisions
- Own supplier strategy for key components and assemblies, negotiating pricing, terms, and capacity commitments
- Drive procurement for new product introductions alongside Hardware Engineering and Product Ops, managing BOM cost targets and supplier calendars against product development timelines
- Monitor cost trends and supplier performance, catch risk early, and build contingency plans before they become problems
What You'll Bring:
- 7-10+ years in demand planning, sourcing, or operations strategy, ideally in consumer hardware, wearables, or another fast-moving physical product environment
- A track record of building and owning forecasting and sourcing processes that actually align teams and drive execution, not just look good on paper
- Deep fluency in Excel/Sheets and databases, with comfort writing SQL and building planning models from scratch
- Real experience working with overseas manufacturers, with the instincts to get things done across time zones and cultures
- A process-obsessed mindset. You see chaos and build systems that scale, then keep optimizing
- Strong cross-functional communication, translating cleanly between technical, financial, and operational perspectives
- Python or other programming skills, startup experience scaling systems from zero to one, or a background standing up refurbishment or return logistics programs are all a plus
Why You'll Love Us:
- Time to Recharge: Enjoy flexible PTO to take the breaks you need.
- Top-Notch Health Coverage: We’ve got your back (and teeth and eyes) with full medical, dental, and vision insurance.
