  • We are seeking a Senior/Lead Member of Technical Staff to drive the design and delivery of large-scale, distributed systems within Salesforce’s Security ecosystem. This is a hands-on technical role focused on building scalable, reliable, and secure backend services. The role includes end-to-end ownership of complex initiatives, influencing architectural decisions, and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver high-impact solutions at global scale.
    Team Overview
    Our team leads the development of Security Mesh, a new Salesforce product that connects and analyzes security signals across multiple systems and platforms. This enables detection of complex threats, such as impossible logins occurring simultaneously across non-Salesforce applications, indicating potential account compromise. Insights are surfaced through Security Center and proactively delivered via Agentforce.

At Salesforce, we believe in equitable compensation practices that reflect the dynamic nature of labor markets across various regions. The typical base salary range for this position is $148,500 - $223,900 annually. In select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan area, the base salary range for this role is $178,900 - $246,000 annually. The range represents base salary only, and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
