The salary range for this role, based in New York is $211,440.00 to $264,300.00. The range will vary if outside of this location. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate’s experience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.

Job Summary: 

Join Pernod Ricard USA as the Vice President (VP), On-Premise, where you’ll lead the charge in transforming our national on-premise sales strategy, leading the Agave and Prestige sales teams, and strengthening partnerships across national accounts. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for shaping national strategy, driving double-digit growth, and elevating our presence in dynamic, high-energy environments. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you’ll oversee a $500M business with a bold vision to grow to $650M by the end of FY28. What you’ll do 

On-Premise Commercial Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive on-premise commercial strategy to drive growth by defining the optimal product range, target outlets, and priority regions and cities for focused brand efforts and resource allocation.

  • Align national and regional strategies with brand priorities and commercial objectives, ensuring the CDM population has consistent selling objectives and clear performance measurement.

  • Partner with distributor sales teams to optimize coverage between Pernod and distributor team.

  • Establish KPIs to track both internal and distributor performance, enabling data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.

Distributor & Trade Engagement

  • Deepen strategic distributor relationships to ensure Pernod Ricard brands lead in visibility and priority.

  • Ignite on-premise trade engagement through standout activations in high-impact venues.

  • Expand our footprint in luxury, nightlife, and hospitality through bold, strategic partnerships.

  • Align brand advocacy efforts with regional priorities to amplify ambassador impact where it matters most.

Leadership of On-Premise National Accounts Team

  • Drive national account strategy with clear goals, performance metrics, and aligned execution.

  • Prioritize and resource accounts based on scale and growth potential.

  • Lead top-to-top engagements with key partners, ensuring seamless collaboration across marketing, finance, and legal.

Leadership of Agave & Prestige Sales Teams

  • Inspire and empower a high-performing team with clear vision, coaching, and accountability.

  • Ensure consistent execution and strategic alignment across all markets.

  • Cultivate future leaders through intentional development and career growth opportunities.

Market Expansion & Revenue Growth

  • Unlock new revenue streams and grow market share in on-premise channels.

  • Launch innovative pricing and promotional strategies to boost commercial performance.

  • Partner with marketing to align sales execution with compelling consumer experiences.

Performance Tracking & Operational Excellence

  • Leverage real-time dashboards to monitor execution, compliance, and distributor performance.

  • Streamline operations through cross-functional collaboration and smart resource allocation.

  • Maximize ROI and accelerate growth through data-driven decision-making.

Required qualifications 

  • 15+ years of experience in the spirits or alcohol beverage industry, with a strong focus on on-premise commercial strategy.

  • 8+ years in senior leadership roles with direct responsibility for commercial strategy, P&L, and team development.

  • Proven success in distributor engagement and trade activation, with established relationships across major networks (e.g., SGWS, RNDC, Breakthru Beverage).

  • Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams and drive growth in premium and luxury spirits categories.

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a track record of using data to drive performance and innovation.

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% to engage with partners, teams, and key accounts.
