About this opportunity:
The E2E Solution Architect is Ericsson's senior technical authority for end-to-end Core and Cloud solutions. You will set architecture and delivery direction across mobile core networks, cloud infrastructure and automation, while shaping customer solutions from initial discussions through proposal and contracted scope. You will advise customer leaders and lead a virtual team of solution architects across Ericsson product areas.
What you will do:
  • Own end-to-end architecture across 4G EPC, 5G SA Core, IMS, subscriber data management, CS Core, and cloud/NFV platforms. Produce designs, migration and rollback plans, operational models, and technical baselines.
  • Act as design authority for major network and cloud changes. Assess risk, plan upgrades, traffic migrations and disaster recovery, and lead technical escalations and root-cause resolution with minimal customer impact.
  • Lead cloud-native transformation on Ericsson CNIS and set standards for Kubernetes, resiliency, security, networking, storage and observability. Advance DevOps, CI/CD, GitOps and Infrastructure-as-Code.
  • Advise customer CTO, architecture and operations stakeholders on technology strategy. Develop value arguments and business-case input, and communicate effectively from technical teams to C-level.
  • Own presales solution scope: clarify requirements, design and dimension the solution, coordinate cost estimates, proposals and Statements of Work, and ensure what is contracted is feasible and aligned with customer needs.
  • Lead and coordinate a multidisciplinary team of Solution Architects; delegate effectively, coach colleagues and build shared technical capability.

The skills you bring:
  • 10+ years in telecom core networks, including 5+ years in solution architecture or end-to-end technical leadership.
  • Deep knowledge of 4G EPC, 5G SA Core, IMS/VoLTE/VoNR, UDM/HSS and CS Core, with experience in multi-vendor operator environments.
  • Strong cloud/NFV experience, ideally Ericsson CNIS, including Kubernetes and CNF/VNF lifecycle, networking, storage and observability.
  • Experience leading migrations, upgrades, disaster recovery and geo-redundancy, plus practical knowledge of automation and orchestration.
  • Presales experience spanning requirements, solution design, dimensioning, cost estimates, proposals and SoWs; understanding of Ericsson and third-party portfolios, competition and market trends.
  • Strong customer advisory, commercial, communication, negotiation and risk-management skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead virtual teams. Managed-services, SLA/KPI and Latin America or Caribbean operator experience are advantages.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a related field. Fluent English; Spanish is highly desirable. Willingness to travel within the region as needed.
