Lead implementation of regulatory reporting and process changes across Finance, Risk, and business stakeholders. Provide subject matter expertise on IFRS, FinRep, GSIB, and related reporting requirements while ensuring data quality, regulatory compliance, effective controls, and audit-ready outputs. Manage change initiatives, testing, operational risk assessments, process improvements, contingency planning, and cross-training. Partner with senior stakeholders to maintain accurate management actions and restructuring processes.
Job Title: IRR Regulatory Reporting (13- 20 yrs)
- Liaise with multiple stakeholders for effective implementation of the system or Regulatory changes;
- In depth understanding of external/regulatory reportings i.e. IFRS, FinRep, GSIB etc ;recognition of ownership and responsibility for the quality of the reported data
- Working closely with various stakeholders like Product control, ALCM team and Regulatory Policy to understand, plan and deliver change initiatives including new reporting requirements
- Providing subject matter expertise, individually and through the team, to stakeholders across business, Risk and Finance, including in the context of strategic business transformation.
- Supporting management in the continuous enhancement, maintenance and testing of the management action & restructuring processes
- Proactive and collaborative stakeholder engagement with peers and senior management across Functions, Global Business Lines and Legal Entities to ensure the management actions standards and controls are adhered to and the completeness, accuracy and credibility of all management actions
- Ensure outputs delivered are of a high quality, reflecting accepted regulatory policy and standards with transparent and robust control procedures that withstand internal and external scrutiny
- Ensuring the necessary changes are made in the respective processes and controls, to continue to meet all necessary regulatory reporting requirements and tested to deliver the desired results.
Operational Effectiveness & Control
- Continually assess operational risks inherent in the processes, taking account of changing procedures, regulatory requirements, management restructures, and impact of new technology.
- Effectively drive and manage change, plan business contingency and achieve cross-training.
- Ensure that there is full compliance with the Global Finance, Internal Control and Objectives
- Contribute to implementation of effective and efficient process and controls.
- Pro-active approach to process improvement and query resolution
