The Monad Foundation is a team of dedicated ecosystem and community builders who are on a mission to massively grow the impact of decentralized tech. We believe that the Monad blockchain--the performant and parallel EVM Layer 1--will help decentralized apps eat the world.

The Monad Foundation believes that cultivating a rich ecosystem for founders is critical to the success of the ecosystem.

Our goal is to transform the Monad Ecosystem into the gravitational center for crypto talent in New York City. We've established The Studio—a 20,000 square foot coworking space adjacent to our NYC office—as an engine for this vision. A core part of this role is developing The Studio as the place where the best founders build, the smartest people in crypto congregate, and great startups are born. We're looking for someone to lead this effort, positioning the Monad NYC ecosystem as a hub that founders tap into for talent, collaboration and momentum.

• You will own the strategy and execution of attracting and engaging top builders to Monad NYC ecosystem and The Studio, collaborating across Ecosystem, Growth, Events and Operations teams.

• You will cultivate an environment centered on shipping, experimentation, and collaboration—where proximity to other great builders creates tangible value and accelerates progress.

• You will establish and grow The Studio's brand as the premier destination for crypto builders in NYC, driving awareness and elevating its position within the industry.

• You will design and launch innovative programs, events, and initiatives that directly advance the Monad ecosystem—from curated invite-only gatherings and sector-specific deep-dives to multi-day intensives and founder workshops.

• You will be the central node—the go-to person who connects builders with the right people, resources, and opportunities.

  • This means providing sharp feedback, making high-impact introductions, and identifying key thought leaders, experts, and investors to bring into The Studio's orbit.

• You will manage the flow of exceptional builders in The Studio, including reviewing applications, onboarding/offboarding, and ensuring alignment with ecosystem priorities.

• You will engage current Monad builders and also convert net-new builders into the ecosystem, creating network effects between builders of different sectors to grow the Monad ecosystem as a whole.

• You will define goals and success metrics for The Studio, ensuring everything ladders up to advancing Monad's strategic goals and strengthening the builder ecosystem.

• 3+ years of experience in crypto.

• You have deep network in NYC’s web3 and greater tech scene.

• You’ve formed strong, evidence-based opinions on what creates great startups.

• You build relationships effortlessly—bringing together founders, investors, and builders to create the connections that matter.

• You understand what distinguishes good builders from great ones.

• You understand how to attract builders of different verticals, aligning with overall ecosystem strategy in order to create synergies that grow the network as a whole

• You give game-changing feedback that helps founders grow.

• You thrive wearing multiple hats—strategy, execution, business development, marketing, operations. You own outcomes, not just tasks.

• You have a track record of organizing exceptional events and programs. You're detail-oriented and budget-conscious.

• You're energized by responsibility and accountability. You want to own The Studio's success and are willing to do what it takes to make it happen.

• Experience creating incubator programs, accelerators or hackathons

• Challenging problems. You’ll work on extremely challenging problems with massive impact.

• Huge opportunity. The Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) standard is ubiquitous, but existing EVM-compatible chains are slow and bandwidth-constrained. Monad’s core innovations offer developers the best of both worlds (portability and performance) and are a game-changer for mass user adoption in crypto.
