eDiscovery CoordinatorPosition SummaryThe eDiscovery Coordinator is a non-billable professional staff role responsible for coordinating the administrative and operational functions of the firm’s eDiscovery practice. This position supports matter intake and triage, workflow coordination, approvals, budgeting, vendor communications, and operational tracking across the eDiscovery lifecycle.The role requires prior eDiscovery experience and a working knowledge of the EDRM lifecycle to effectively coordinate workflows and support attorneys, clients, insurance carriers, vendors, and internal teams.Key ResponsibilitiesMatter Intake and Workflow Coordination- Coordinate intake and administrative triage for eDiscovery matters.
- Support workflow coordination, timelines, approvals, and operational communications across matters.
- Maintain organized workflow tracking, documentation, and matter records.
- Serve as a coordination point between attorneys, vendors, clients, carriers, and internal teams.
- Coordinate Statements of Work (SOWs), written approvals, budgets, estimates, invoice tracking, and related administrative workflows.
- Support appeals coordination and financial tracking activities related to eDiscovery matters.
- Assist with matter closeout activities, reporting, and operational recordkeeping.
- Contribute to process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives across the eDiscovery function.
- Prior experience in eDiscovery operations, legal operations, or law firm eDiscovery environments required.
- Working knowledge of the EDRM lifecycle and eDiscovery workflows required.
- Strong organizational, communication, and workflow coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and customer service skills.
