Job Overview
The eMaint Business Development Representative (BDR) plays a key role in driving growth by identifying and qualifying new business opportunities. This position requires a high level of professionalism and persistence to build relationships with potential prospects through phone, email, and social media outreach. The BDR is responsible for generating and managing qualified leads for Account Executives, meeting or exceeding lead generation goals, and supporting the sales pipeline. Reporting to the Growth Marketing Manager, this role involves extensive research, proactive outreach, and close collaboration with the sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to inquiries from marketing campaigns.
- Develop and execute business development campaigns using a structured process.
- Maintain daily outbound activity quotas for calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach.
- Research, plan, and implement new target market initiatives.
- Identify and engage prospective accounts in target markets.
- Introduce eMaint to new prospects, generate interest, and advance them through the early stages of the sales process.
- Update CRM (Salesforce) with all activities and interactions.
- Schedule transition meetings between prospects and Account Executives for each Sales Accepted Lead.
- Collaborate closely with Account Executives, Sales Development, Customer Success, and Marketing teams.
Qualifications & Skills
- 1–3 years of experience in telemarketing, inside sales, or sales (enterprise software, SaaS, or technology sales preferred).
- Proven cold-calling expertise in a B2B lead-generation environment.
- Strong ability to navigate organizational structures and engage decision-makers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-starter with a track record of meeting and exceeding goals.
- High energy, adaptability, and enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
- Team-oriented with a desire for professional growth.
- Skilled in solution-based, value-driven lead qualification.
- Ability to build strong relationships with field sales representatives.
- Technical aptitude; familiarity with SaaS technology is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
