The Opportunity

We are searching for a Machine Learning Engineer who is passionate about automating, optimizing, leading initiatives, and training co-workers. You will be a contributor to engineering ML solutions as we continue to scale our sophisticated solutions for private capital markets.

Our ideal candidate has a strong sense of ownership and enjoys driving projects from inception to planning to execution in production. You'll be working with a nimble team of committed and talented engineers with an engineering culture centered on continuous learning, collaborative knowledge sharing, and both personal and team development.

As a Machine Learning Engineer at Chronograph, you will:

  • Manage Data Pipelines, automate data preparation and transformations
  • Manage ML Pipelines, automate model training and deployment
  • Use well known ML frameworks and AWS Cloud infrastructure
  • Implement robust, performant, extensible, and secure data structures and APIs
  • Develop a deep understanding of the business to deliver creative and thoughtful solutions
  • Collaborate closely across the organization to build and refine processes to ensure efficient growth into the future
  • Help attract, interview, and onboard your future team members during this exciting time of growth

You will be successful in this role if you have:

  • (Minimum) Two (2) years of professional development/machine learning experience
  • Knowledge of and experience with Python, Terraform, Sagemaker, MLflow, and Lambdas
  • Basic understanding of Deep Learning, Computer Vision, and NLP
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to distill complex concepts
  • Ability to work both individually and collaboratively to deliver results in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Positive attitude, sense of humor and creativity
  • Deep curiosity and motivation to continue to develop as an ML Engineer and technologist
  • Nice to have: Node.js, PostgreSQL, Serverless, Pytorch, OpenCV, Open Source OCR, NLP Transformers
