About Middesk:

Middesk is building the data and intelligence infrastructure that helps businesses work together with confidence. We started by creating a comprehensive platform for understanding businesses, bringing together authoritative and proprietary data to help customers verify business identities, onboard customers faster, and manage risk throughout the customer lifecycle.

Today, Middesk is used by more than 700 banks and fintechs, and in 2025 we verified more than 7 million companies. We've also expanded beyond business verification to help companies form, register, manage, and maintain their businesses, supporting more than 50,000 companies in setting up over 100,000 accounts required to hire employees, run payroll, and stay compliant.

Middesk came out of Y Combinator, and is backed by Sequoia Capital, Accel, Insight Partners, and Canapi. We're proud to be named on the Forbes Fintech 50 and Best Startup Employers lists.

About the Role

We're hiring an Enterprise Account Executive to help define the future of business identity.

At Middesk, you'll sell category-defining infrastructure that helps companies verify businesses, onboard customers faster, and manage risk with confidence. You'll work with innovative fintechs, lenders, marketplaces, and B2B platforms to build trust into critical customer workflows.

This role is an opportunity for a high-performing seller to take the next step in their career, owning larger, more sophisticated customers and sales cycles. You'll lead new-logo acquisition, work across technical and executive stakeholders, and have a meaningful impact on Middesk's growth.

We're looking for a consultative seller with a track record of taking on increasingly complex deals. You’re curious, eager to understand technical products and customer problems, and energized by the opportunity to keep moving upmarket.

We follow a hybrid work model with an expectation of three days per week in our New York City or San Francisco office.

What You'll Do
  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close across enterprise accounts.

  • Build and execute thoughtful account strategies to identify, engage, and win new customers.

  • Navigate multi-stakeholder sales processes across Product, Engineering, Compliance, Risk, Operations, and executive teams.

  • Develop a deep understanding of Middesk's platform and our customers' workflows to lead consultative, value-driven sales conversations.

  • Partner closely with Solutions Engineering to navigate technical evaluations and implementation planning.

  • Build pipeline through outbound prospecting, account planning, and relationship development.

  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Customer teams to bring customer and market insights back into Middesk.

  • Become a trusted partner to customers navigating business identity, compliance, and risk challenges.

What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of experience closing B2B software, data, or infrastructure deals.

  • A track record of winning new business and taking on increasingly large and complex deals.

  • Experience navigating multi-stakeholder sales processes and engaging technical, operational, and executive buyers.

  • Experience selling into fintech, financial services, B2B software, marketplaces, regulated industries, or similarly complex customer environments.

  • Strong curiosity and an interest in deeply understanding customer workflows, APIs, and technical concepts.

  • A consultative approach to selling, with the ability to uncover customer problems and connect them to meaningful business outcomes.

  • A proactive, ownership-oriented mindset and comfort operating in a fast-moving environment.

  • An appetite to continue growing as a seller and taking on greater scope and complexity.

Nice to Have
  • Experience selling API-first products, developer tools, data products, or infrastructure software.

  • Experience with fintech, compliance, identity, risk, KYC, or KYB solutions.

  • Experience working at a startup or high-growth company.
