About the company
Our client is a fast-growing software company.
The role
Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Act as the first dedicated enterprise seller, owning the sales process from self-generated outbound through signature. Shape the selling approach that later team members will adopt, working alongside industry-focused account colleagues.
What you'll do
- Run the entire sales process for very large enterprise accounts, beginning with your own outbound prospecting.
- Win initial pilot engagements and grow them into much larger contracts by bringing in additional stakeholders.
- Guide deals through procurement, legal and information security reviews, and address concerns about data sensitivity and build-versus-buy.
- Partner with industry-specialist account managers who contribute category knowledge while you lead enterprise strategy.
- Create the enterprise sales playbook from scratch and coach colleagues on sales best practices.
Requirements
What we're looking for
- Five or more years of closing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales.
- Track record of originating net-new seven-figure deals with the very largest companies, including land-and-expand growth from pilot to full contract.
- Experience selling data, analytics or AI platforms to insights, data or brand leaders.
- Experience steering data-sensitive products through security, legal and procurement reviews at very large organizations.
- Proven ability to build pipeline through outbound effort without relying on SDRs or inbound leads.
- Fluency in MEDDPICC or Command of the Message.
- Experience converting RFPs and influencing evaluation criteria at large enterprises.
- Ability to handle procurement objections live and confidently, without preparation.
- Based in or willing to relocate to New York, working from the office.
Bonus points
- Enthusiasm for a growth path to a sales leadership role in a small startup without big-company infrastructure.
