What you'll do: As an ERM Senior Manager you’ll lead the development, implementation, and continuous enhancement of programs to identify, measure, monitor, and control risks throughout the organization. You'll play a key role in the Bank's Enterprise and Operational Risk Management Team, who is responsible for several enterprise wide programs, including Risk and Control Self Assessment (RCSA), Controls Testing, Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) Platform and Program, Third-Party Risk Management, Policy Framework, and Technology and Information Security Risk Management. The Senior Manager – Strategic Risk will lead the program(s) execution and ongoing enhancement, ensuring consistent application of program methodologies, policies, standards, and regulatory requirements. The role will oversee key program activities, provide effective challenge to stakeholders, analyze trends and emerging risks, and drive improvements to program effectiveness and maturity. The Senior Manager will also play a significant role in developing reporting, metrics, training, governance routines, and continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen enterprise risk management practices.
  • Lead the execution, enhancement, and ongoing maturity of the Bank’s Risk Identification (Risk ID) program, including methodology, standards, and processes for identifying, validating, and reporting on enterprise risks.
  • Serve as a strong contributor to the Risk Appetite program and enterprise risk committee reporting, helping develop executive-ready materials — including ERMC/DRC and Board decks, CRO updates, and regulatory communications — that distill complex risk topics into concise, decision-ready content for senior audiences.
  • Manage a small size team (2-7) and help develop, train, and drive continuous improvement.

What you'll need:

  • 8+ years of related experience in Risk Management, Internal Audit, SOX, and/or Financial Institutions.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with risk and control frameworks (COSO ERM Framework, Basel, etc.).
  • Bachelor's degree in related field required.
  • Previous leadership experience required.
  • Advanced knowledge of industry and professional experience across one or more of the three lines of defense (e.g., banking operations, information technology, SOX, compliance, risk management, audit).
  • Advanced knowledge of risk management tools and systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Copilot, and PowerPoint).
  • Advanced technical knowledge of risk identification and risk appetite methodologies and frameworks, and enterprise risk committee governance, including experience translating enterprise risks into executive- and Board-level reporting.
