Come join First American, where we recognize our true worth is our people. We are looking to add an Escrow Assistant to our growing team. In this role you will work in a dynamic, fast-paced setting supporting our team in a variety of ways including customer support and administrative duties.  This position plays a key role in making the dream of home ownership a reality.  
This is an in-office position located at 110 East 42nd Street, 10th Floor, NY, NY

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare deeds and transfer tax forms in the state of NY
• Documents are prepared for individual sites and multi-sites related to bulk transactions
• Communicate regularly with customers related to both insured and accommodation orders
• Work alongside our title, escrow and recording Teams to assist customers with their pre-closing needs
• Work with a variety of technologies to enable transactions
• Help ensure a phenomenal customer experience

What You’ll Bring:

• Excellent verbal and written communication with both our internal teams and external customers
• Problem solver with strong organizational skills, is detail oriented, a natural curiosity with an eagerness to learn
• Thrives in contributing to a team working together to deliver beyond customer expectations
• Knowledge of MS Office suite and Adobe and the ability to quickly adapt to new software applications and technologies
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years escrow-related experience preferred

Pay Range: $22.16 - $29.56 Hourly
This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
