The Role:

The Escrow Deposit Relationship Manager is responsible for managing and growing the bank’s escrow deposit portfolio, serving as the primary point of contact for escrow clients. This role focuses on building strong relationships with law firms, real estate professionals, and corporate clients, ensuring seamless onboarding, account management, and service delivery. The Relationship Manager will collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored escrow solutions, maintain compliance, and drive client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with escrow clients, including law firms, real estate agencies, and corporate entities.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new escrow accounts, ensuring all documentation and regulatory requirements are met.
  • Serve as the primary contact for client inquiries, account maintenance, and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with operations, compliance, and product teams to deliver customized escrow deposit solutions.
  • Monitor account activity for compliance with bank policies and regulatory standards.
  • Identify opportunities to expand escrow services and cross-sell additional banking products.
  • Prepare reports on portfolio performance, client activity, and market trends.
  • Represent Piermont Bank at industry events and networking functions to enhance visibility and attract new business.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in banking, escrow services, or relationship management.
  • Proven sales track record in generating deposit growth.
  • Strong business development skills with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Ability to work and thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in working with commercial businesses.
  • Ability to form effective relationships and achieve influence with senior-level personnel in an organization.
  • Strong and effective communication and interpersonal skills.

The hiring range for this position is $110,000 to $150,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors. A bonus and/or incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, dental, vision, 401k, and other benefits.
