Offit Kurman is seeking an Estates and Trusts Attorney to join our New York City office to support our expanding private client services practice.

This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level attorney looking for a collaborative, entrepreneurial platform with strong cross-selling opportunities and firm support.

Requirements:

• 4–8 years of experience practicing trusts and estates law

• Licensed to practice law in New York

Experience:

• Strong experience drafting a broad range of estate planning documents, including wills, revocable trusts, and irrevocable trusts, as well as related ancillary documents (powers of attorney, healthcare directives, etc.)

• Ability to manage day-to-day estate planning needs for individuals and families, including straightforward and moderately complex planning engagements

• Comfortable managing client relationships, gathering information, and translating client goals into clear, practical estate plans

• Some experience advising high-net-worth individuals and families on advanced planning strategies (e.g., GRATs, SLATs, CRATs) is a plus

• Exposure to estate and trust administration.

Salary expected to be $170K-$190K. Can consider higher if there if there is portable business.
