The Events Manager oversees event strategy, budgeting, vendor management, logistics, and attendee experience to ensure impactful experiential marketing events. Glory is seeking a detail-oriented Events Manager to oversee all aspects of experiential marketing. This includes planning, and executing trade shows, customer visits, demo center engagements, and partner events. The ideal candidate will manage the entire event lifecycle, so each event delivers brand impact and business value. Success in this role requires anticipating challenges, balancing multiple priorities, and delivering seamless, memorable event outcomes for both internal and external stakeholders.
This role is a hybrid position- that will require you to come into the office in Lisle IL several days a week, to be on site for our Solutions Center visits, along with travel to events throughout the country.

Key Responsibilities
Event Strategy & Planning
- Align event strategy with overall marketing and sales objectives to maximize business impact and brand visibility. Own the overall event calendar for the US and Canada.
- Identify and prioritize opportunities for both external (trade shows, partner events) and internal audiences (team activations).
- Oversee scheduling and content planning for demo center visits to drive meaningful engagement with prospects and clients.
- Plan and execute internal marketing events and key team activations
- Oversee the Lisle Solutions Center experience, coordinating customer visits, demos, and on-site logistics to deliver consistent, high-impact interactions.
Budgeting & Vendor Management
- Develop, track, and report on budgets for all event types, so spending aligns with event goals and KPIs, finding efficiency gains in repeatable, memorable investments.
- Negotiate contracts and maintain relationships with exhibit vendors, AV teams, and conference organizers to secure cost-effective, high-quality services and materials.
- Coordinate with approved vendors for event logistics, including registrations and itineraries.
- Oversee sponsorship setup and coordination, managing branding, attendee registration, and lodging arrangements.
Event Logistics & Execution
- Lead trade show execution—including pre-planning, booth design, logistics, on-site delivery, and post-show follow-up—for seamless, impactful experiences. Travel will be required to help staff events as necessary.
- Manage the inventory, shipping, and on-site handling of Glory devices used at events, including booking show services and overseeing execution from setup through teardown.
- Develop comprehensive event documentation and show guides, supporting clear sales and service handovers for continuity and operational excellence.
- Communications cycle pre-and post-event to target audience and engaged leads/visitors in support of lead qualification and new opportunity creation. Set up and configure lead capture systems to ensure effective data collection and integration with post-event follow-up, and regular reporting of engagement metrics.
Technical & Attendee Experience
- Order marketing collateral and event assets in alignment with brand standards and event requirements.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Service Technicians, and Subject Matter Experts to confirm appropriate staffing and technical support for all events.
- Liaise with Product Management to ensure device availability, prototype readiness, and technical approvals for event demonstrations.
- Optimize on-site mobile app experiences to enhance attendee engagement, streamline event activities, and support real-time updates and analytics.
- Work with the marketing team to create engaging on-site experiences that drive visitor interaction and lead qualification.
Performance Measurement & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor, analyze, and report on event performance metrics such as leads, participation, and pipeline impact, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Translate post-event learnings and feedback into recommendations for ongoing improvement of event strategy and execution.
- Stay current on trends in virtual/hybrid event formats and experiential marketing so industry-leading practices are applied.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Education Level:
· Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or communications is required.
· MBA or MA in Integrated Marketing Communications a plus
Qualifications
· 5-8+ years of experience in event planning, experiential marketing, or customer engagement.
· Proven success managing trade shows and partner engagements.
· Experience with budgeting and vendor negotiation.
· Experience creating event programs and integrated campaigns.
· Ability to travel and work flexible hours during event periods.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
· Eloqua and Oracle Sales Cloud Experience Preferred
· Excellent project management and campaign management skills managing multiple events simultaneously under tight deadlines
· Knowledge of project management and tracking tools such as Monday.com, Trello or Asana
· Excellent written and verbal communications skills
· Comfortable leading teams and filling gaps
· Experience managing and establishing budgets with agency and vendor partners
· Proficiency with Excel, Power Point, Word, Adobe, HTML, marketing automation, CMS tools and other digital platforms
· Experience using AI-powered tools to manage events, create content and campaigns and analyze event success metrics
