About the Role

Factory is hiring for our Events team to own the strategy, creative development, production, and execution of our highest-profile and most complex event experiences.

This role owns a focused portfolio of large-scale programs that represent significant investments in Factory's brand, employees, customers, and market presence - including Sales Kickoff, President's Club, major industry conferences such as AWS re:Invent, and high-impact experiential activations surrounding Tier-1 industry events.

This role will be working in close partnership with the Head of Events, Field Marketing, Marketing, and external agency and production partners, you will serve as the executive producer for these programs - from initial concept and business objectives through budgeting, creative development, production, onsite execution, and post-event measurement.

What you will do and achieve
  • Own end-to-end strategy and production for Factory's flagship event portfolio, including:

    • Sales Kickoff (SKO)

    • President's Club

    • Tier-1 conferences and trade shows such as AWS re:Invent

    • Major sponsored experiences and experiential activations

  • Translate company and business objectives into distinctive event strategies and attendee experiences that strengthen Factory's brand and support measurable business outcomes.

  • Serve as Executive Producer for flagship programs, establishing the creative vision, production approach, operating plan, budget, timeline, and attendee journey.

  • Lead large-scale presence at major industry moments such as AWS re:Invent, including booth experiences, sponsorships, customer programming, hospitality, offsite activations, executive participation, and surrounding brand experiences.

  • Own multimillion-dollar event budgets and provide forecasting, reconciliation, scenario planning, and recommendations for maximizing investment.

  • Source, negotiate with, and lead external agencies, production companies, venues, DMCs, experiential partners, AV/technical production teams, and specialty vendors.

  • Lead complex cross-functional workstreams involving Marketing, Brand, Sales, Product, Communications, People, Finance, Legal, and Executive Leadership.

  • Establish detailed production plans, critical paths, RACI structures, run-of-show documentation, contingency plans, and onsite operating models.

  • Lead onsite production and serve as the senior decision-maker for flagship event execution.

  • Develop premium attendee experiences appropriate for employees, customers, executives, partners, and VIP audiences.

  • Identify opportunities to extend Factory's presence beyond the primary conference environment through sponsored events, hospitality, experiential activations, and strategic partnerships.

  • Partner with the team on annual planning, budget allocation, event standards, measurement, and long-term evolution of Factory's event portfolio.

  • Establish scalable processes, vendor relationships, production standards, and best practices that can be leveraged across the broader events organization.

  • Conduct post-event analysis and translate results, stakeholder feedback, attendee insights, and operational learnings into recommendations for future programs.

  • Champion the Factory voice and ensure every program reflects the ambition of our mission to bring autonomy to software engineering.

Qualifications
  • Experience owning end-to-end strategy and production for large-scale, high-complexity events such as sales kickoffs, user conferences, President's Club, or Tier-1 industry conferences and sponsorships.

  • Experience at a high-growth startup or hyper-growth technology company is strongly preferred.

  • Proven track record serving as executive producer for flagship programs, from concept and budgeting through onsite execution and post-event measurement.

  • Experience owning multimillion-dollar event budgets, including forecasting, reconciliation, and scenario planning.

  • Strong experience sourcing, negotiating with, and managing external agencies, production companies, venues, DMCs, and AV/technical production partners.

  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional programs across Marketing, Brand, Sales, Product, Communications, Finance, Legal, and Executive Leadership.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple large-scale programs, vendors, budgets, timelines, and stakeholders at once.

  • Experience developing premium attendee experiences for employees, customers, executives, partners, and VIP audiences.

  • Comfort with event and marketing tools such as Salesforce, event management platforms, and registration tools.

  • Willingness to travel for onsite production and execution of flagship events.
