WE HAVE CREATED A WORLD WHERE ART AND SCIENCE ARE BEST FRIENDS

Known is what happens when a data science firm and a creative agency stop arguing and start collaborating. We were built from scratch with PhD data scientists and award-winning creatives working on the same briefs, from day one. That structure earned us an Ad Age #3 A-List ranking, back-to-back Data & Insights Agency of the Year wins, plus Emmys, Cannes Lions, Clios, and Effies across clients in finance, tech, entertainment, consumer goods, and real estate. We're distributed across the U.S. and unapologetically ambitious.

If you're tired of choosing between doing smart work and doing creative work, you'll fit right in here.

BUT ENOUGH ABOUT US, LET'S TALK ABOUT YOU

About the role:

If you know Known, you know we run fast. We're responding to client demands, managing shifting priorities, and building the relationships that drive our business. We're looking for an Executive Assistant who has seen that environment before and knows how to stay ahead of it. Someone who manages the CEO's world with enough precision that problems get solved before they're named, and enough presence that every person they interact with, client or colleague, walks away with a strong impression. If you've spent years in a seat like this and you're ready for a role where your judgment matters, we'd like to talk.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Key Responsibilities:

  • Learn the CEO's goals, priorities, and working style well enough to get ahead of needs rather than react to them. Own follow-up and keep deliverables moving without being asked.
  • Manage a complex, high-volume calendar with competing demands. Make sound calls on what gets the CEO's time and what doesn't.
  • Own all domestic and international travel from start to finish: flights, hotels, ground transportation, itineraries, and contingency planning when things go sideways.
  • Prepare briefing documents, agendas, presentations, and supporting materials for internal and external meetings. The CEO should walk into every room ready.
  • Handle sensitive matters with discretion. This is a high-trust role and that standard doesn't waver.
  • Provide backup support to the President, CMO, and CCO as needed, adapting quickly to different working styles and priorities.

WHO YOU ARE AND WHAT YOU HAVE

  • 8 to 10 or more years of experience as an Executive Assistant, with at least a portion of that time supporting a CEO or equivalent.
  • Based in or commutable to New York City, available on-site five days a week.
  • Comfortable incorporating AI tools into daily work, with the judgment to know that nothing goes in or out without personal review and revision. AI is part of how we work more effectively. The human layer is non-negotiable.
  • Clear, confident communication in writing and in person.
  • A track record of building trust quickly and maintaining it across all levels of an organization, from junior staff to board members to clients.
  • High personal standards and consistent follow-through, even when no one is checking.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities without losing composure when the plan changes.
  • Strong people-reading skills and a history of supporting multiple executives with different personalities and communication styles.
  • Deep familiarity with New York's restaurant scene, enough to make a client dinner reservation without a second guess.
  • A good attitude and a sense of humor. This is a team that works hard and takes the work seriously, not itself.

SOME OF OUR PERKS

  • Unlimited paid time off
  • 401k with company matching and no vesting period
  • Annual bonuses
  • Generous medical plan
  • Paid parental leave

ONE LAST THING TO ASK YOURSELF
