About the Role

We are seeking a bold, visionary Executive Creative Director to lead concept development and creative execution at Así Studios, TelevisaUnivision’s award-winning branded content studio. This role is built for a culturally fluent storyteller who deeply understands the nuances of language, identity, and lived experience across U.S. Hispanic communities.

As Executive Creative Director, you will help shape the studio’s creative voice, guiding multidisciplinary teams to develop work that is emotionally resonant, insight-driven, and strategically sound. From high-impact brand campaigns to creator-led content and premium video storytelling, you’ll lead the charge in crafting ideas that speak directly to a dynamic, diverse, and bicultural audience while helping define the media experience for the next generation of U.S. Hispanics.

Your Day to Day

  • Set the Creative and Strategic Vision: Lead the development of bold, culturally fluent, insight-driven creative ideas that push boundaries and align with brand, business and audience objectives.
  • Creative Strategy Leadership: Partner with Strategy leads to define powerful audience insights, brand narratives, and cultural frameworks that shape and elevate the creative approach.
  • Drive Strategic Storytelling: Translate brand objectives into powerful, insight-driven creative platforms that resonate across languages, generations, and media environments.
  • Inspire and Manage Teams: Mentor and lead a growing team of writers, designers, producers, and editors. Create an environment where bold, original thinking thrives.
  • Client Partnership: Serve as a senior creative partner to clients, confidently leading high-stakes presentations, building trust, and translating cultural nuance and authenticity in Hispanic marketing.
  • Lead Ideation and Pitching: Oversee brainstorms and pitch development. Guide the transformation of complex briefs into breakthrough ideas with clear, compelling creative concepts rooted in cultural truth.
  • Creative Oversight: Maintain high standards of quality and consistency throughout all stages of production, ensuring deliverables reflect the intended vision.
  • Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with strategy, production, and account leadership teams to ensure alignment across creative, brand, and execution.
  • Thought Leadership: Contribute to shaping the studio’s creative brand voice and influence industry conversations through thought leadership, trend awareness, and creative innovation.

You have

  • 10+ years of experience in a senior creative role, with a background in social media, copywriting, art direction, or a hybrid capacity
  • Proven creative strategist with experience using insights to shape impactful, cross platform campaigns.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing culturally resonant, insight-driven campaigns across digital, social, and video.
  • Proven experience developing unique, insight-led creative territories that ladder up to broader brand and business goals
  • Deep knowledge of U.S. Hispanic cultural dynamics, generational shifts, media behaviors, and storytelling frameworks
  • Proven experience leading social-first and creator-led branded content at a high level
  • Fluency in English and Spanish, with the ability to think, write, and present seamlessly in both languages
  • Skilled at partnering with Strategy leads to shape meaningful insights that ground and elevate creative work
  • Experience mentoring multidisciplinary teams and fostering a high-performing, collaborative creative culture
  • Comfortable leading the creative process from pitch to post-production, maintaining strategic clarity and creative excellence
  • Confident and compelling in client-facing roles, with a strong ability to build trust and translate cultural nuance into brand value
  • Passion for innovation, storytelling, and shaping the future of media for the next generation of U.S. Hispanics

Bonus Points For

  • Experience working with Hispanic-focused media platforms or multicultural agencies
  • Recognition or awards for multicultural or bilingual campaigns
  • Familiarity with regional and generational differences within the U.S. Latino community
  • Passion for connecting brands to culture through humor, music, sports, food, or family

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be willing to work from office in New York and travel as needed for production
  • Fluency in English and Spanish, with the ability to think, write, present, and communicate seamlessly in both languages (spoken and written proficiency required)
  • Employment/education will be verified
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
