About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking an experienced Senior Lead Securities Product Manager to join the Equities Cash & Derivatives (ECD) organization at the Executive Director level. The role owns strategic execution of the ECD Quantitative Investment Strategies (QIS) product roadmap and manages the Risk & Models product area within ECD, partnering across trading, sales, structuring, quantitative research, technology, risk, operations, finance, and compliance to modernize and scale the firm's systematic investing capabilities.

In this role you will:
  • Own the QIS product roadmap end to end - vision, operating model, prioritization, backlogs, dependencies, and cross-functional delivery plans - aligned to business objectives and growth targets.
  • Drive platform modernization across front-office workflows, analytics, trade lifecycle, risk management, and operational processes.
  • Define measurable success metrics and business outcomes for strategic programs and product investments.
  • Automate manual processes and improve scalability through data-driven decisions, workflow optimization, and emerging technologies including agentic AI.
  • Lead transformational initiatives with partners across trading, sales, structuring, quantitative research, technology, risk, operations, finance, and compliance, including geographically distributed teams.
  • Communicate program status, risks, and recommendations to executive leadership and secure senior stakeholder alignment.
  • Ensure initiatives meet applicable regulatory, risk, compliance, and governance standards.
Required Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of Securities Product Management or leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years of management or leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of financial services or capital markets experience.
  • Deep understanding of listed and OTC equity derivatives and quantitative investment strategies.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex product delivery, platform modernization, or organizational transformation, including business cases, strategic roadmaps, and investment priorities.
  • Experience partnering with quantitative analytics from research prototype to production - pricing and risk libraries, release cycles, reproducible back-testing, and model validation dependencies.
  • Technical fluency in system architecture, data flows, batch and real-time processing, performance, cost, estimates, and dependencies.
  • Experience defining non-functional requirements - performance, resiliency, scalability, security, data lineage, data quality - and remediating manual or end-user computing workarounds.
  • Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior business and technology leaders across a complex matrix organization.
  • Proven ability to lead through ambiguity, set strategic direction, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of the software development lifecycle and supporting controls, including source control, CI/CD, test and production environments, change approval, and audit evidence.
  • Hands-on experience with agentic AI, AI-enabled workflow automation, intelligent assistants, or machine learning-enabled business solutions.
  • Prior hands-on experience as an engineer or desk strategist.

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
$215,000.00 - $355,000.00
