DUTIES:                      Contribute to developing and driving the global SC strategy; Provide a structured and consistent approach to coverage of dedicated financial sponsors (FS) and planning, together with coordination of all the efforts towards FS within and across different products. Lead strategic discussions and pitch opportunities to FS, organizing follow-up and involving relevant product and client groups as appropriate. Actively looking for opportunities, whether via advisory, financing, underwriting, risk-management, or elsewhere, and originate potential opportunities, whether discrete or thematic. Liaising with different stakeholders to ensure the allocation of appropriate Rabobank-wide resources. Make the right connections internally and join all the relevant dots across colleagues, geographies, networks, clients and prospects. Engaging and working efficiently together with a diverse group of internal stakeholders to ensure excellent customer focus and the delivery of high-quality products and services to our clients.Build a strategic pipeline with all relevant product and client groups, and for dedicated sectoral and geographic focus coordinating internal discussions on own sector and geographic coverage Ambassadorship and networking: representing the SC business both internally and externally. Domestic (U.S.) travel is required up to 20% to visit clients and relevant industry conferences/trade shows. Telecommuting permitted up to 60%.REQUIREMENTS:               Position requires a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Analytics, Economics, Finance, or a related field plus eight (8) years of post-baccalaureate work experience in the job offered or in an Executive Director – Sponsor Coverage - related occupation. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Analytics, Economics, Finance, or a related field plus ten (10) years of post-baccalaureate work experience in the job offered or in an Executive Director – Sponsor Coverage - related occupation. Experience must include the following: Demonstrable Broad transactional experience with prime responsibility for the entire transaction process including deal origination, structuring, negotiation, due diligence review, internal approvals, legal documentation execution and where relevant or appropriate debt syndication and post-closing transaction monitoring; Demonstrable experience with leading financial sponsors, company senior management, banks and/or law firms; Demonstrable experience leveraging loans / acquisition finance, capital markets, and/or advisory; Demonstrable ability providing coverage and idea generation to private equity firms investing in the food value chain and energy transition; Demonstrable expertise in the BtB food value chain such as bakery, food ingredients or similar food sectors; Demonstrable experience working in collaboration with colleagues in other countries, including Europe; Ability to articulate strategic plans with clients to internal stakeholders and understanding of internal product abilities and how to best market those to clients. Domestic (U.S.) travel is required up to 20% to visit clients and relevant industry conferences/trade shows. Telecommuting permitted up to 60%.

Rate of Pay:                        $298,854 - $310,000 per year
