We are looking for a Java Developer with experience in building high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications. In this position you will be a key engineer in developing a modern, cutting edge, software platform serving the SolarEdge applications. An ideal candidate is a highly motivated developer, passionate about delivering state-of-the-art software solutions

Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing high-performance applications for mission-critical systems, ensuring low latency, high availability, and optimal throughput
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code
• Ensure your code is in compliance with specifications
• Prepare and produce releases of software components
• Design and implement microservices-based solutions
• Be a team player, contributing to team goals and targets while supporting your peers
• Provide production support and troubleshoot issues as they arise

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject      
• 3-5 years' Java experience is a must
• SQL and data access optimization- Solid understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL)
• Experience in the Spring Framework

Advantages:

• Experience with Kafka is a major advantage
• Experience with event-driven systems, distributed systems and/or data-systems is a major advantage
• Experience with Docker, K8S, Git, GitLab, is a major advantage
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Vertica, Apache Airflow, and Apache NiFi advantage
