ABOUT RETELL AI

Retell AI is using first principles to reimagine the call center with cutting-edge voice AI.

Thousands of companies now utilize Retell’s AI voice agents to handle sales, support, and logistics calls that once required large teams of human agents. Backed by Y Combinator, Alt Capital, and other leading investors, we have scaled to $60M ARR with a team of 40 people, up from $5M at the start of 2025.

Our vision for 2026 is to build a modern CX platform where entire contact centers are powered by AI. Instead of basic automation that needs constant human tuning, we’re creating intelligent AI “workers” that can act as frontline agents, QA analysts, and managers — continuously executing, monitoring, and improving customer interactions.

We’re growing quickly and looking for ambitious builders who want to tackle hard technical problems, move fast, and have real impact at one of the fastest-growing voice AI startups.

Let’s build the future together.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for an Experiential Marketing Manager to own and scale Retell AI’s event and webinar motion across the customer support, contact center, and AI ecosystem.

This person will lead the planning, execution, and operational management of conferences, webinars, executive dinners, customer events, sponsorships, and ecosystem partnerships that directly drive pipeline and brand awareness.

You’ll work closely with sales, growth, founders, and GTM leadership to create high-impact programs that generate measurable business outcomes. This is a highly cross-functional role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys building relationships, and is excited to operate with high ownership.

This is not a brand-only marketing role. We are looking for someone with strong commercial instincts who is excited to help build pipeline and drive revenue through events and field marketing initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Own the sourcing, planning, execution, and measurement of webinars, conferences, executive dinners, trade shows, and customer-facing events

  • Build and manage co-marketing partnerships with strategic partners, agencies, communities, technology platforms, and ecosystem organizations

  • Partner closely with Sales and BDR teams on attendee sourcing, outbound targeting, event engagement strategies, and post-event follow-up

  • Manage webinar operations end-to-end including speaker coordination, registration funnels, promotion, logistics, execution, and reporting

  • Create scalable operational playbooks and workflows for field marketing and event execution

  • Track and report on event performance, pipeline generation, conversion metrics, and ROI

  • Coordinate cross-functional execution across marketing, sales, recruiting, operations, and leadership teams

  • Continuously improve attendee experience, event quality, and operational efficiency across all programs

YOU MIGHT THRIVE IF
  • You enjoy operating in fast-paced startup environments with high ownership and ambiguity

  • You’re highly organized and can manage multiple moving pieces simultaneously without losing attention to detail

  • You have strong communication and relationship-building skills across internal teams, customers, and external partners

  • You’re commercially minded and excited to help drive measurable pipeline and business impact

  • You’re comfortable working flexible hours around live events, conferences, and travel schedules

  • You enjoy traveling frequently and being customer-facing

  • You move quickly, learn fast, and enjoy solving operational problems in real time

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Preferred qualifications include 3–5 years of experience in field marketing, experiential marketing, event marketing, demand generation, or other go-to-market functions.

    • Recent graduates with academic backgrounds in marketing, communications, journalism, or related fields are also encouraged to apply.

  • Experience planning and executing B2B SaaS events, webinars, conferences, or executive programs

  • Strong operational and project management skills with the ability to independently run complex programs

  • Experience partnering directly with sales teams on pipeline generation and event follow-up strategies

  • Familiarity with modern GTM and marketing tooling such as HubSpot, Salesforce, webinar platforms, and event management software

  • Strong written communication and presentation skills

Nice to haves:

  • Experience working in high-growth startup environments

  • Background in journalism, communications, or storytelling

  • Experience running co-marketing or ecosystem partnership programs

  • Experience supporting founder-led or executive-facing events

JOB DETAILS
  • Compensation: $45–60/hour USD depending on experience (1099)

  • Engagement Type: Contractor, with potential for extension and/or conversion to a full-time role based on business needs and performance.

  • Location: San Francisco / Bay Area or Remote

  • Travel: Frequent travel required for conferences, customer events, and industry programs across the United States

  • Hours: This role may require extended hours around events, launches, and travel schedules

  • Reporting Structure: Directly reports to company leadership and works cross-functionally with Sales and GTM teams

OTHER BENEFITS
  • Direct exposure to founders and GTM leadership

  • Opportunity to help build and scale Retell AI’s field marketing engine from the ground up

  • High ownership with significant impact on pipeline generation and company growth

  • Fast-paced environment with rapid career growth opportunities across marketing and demand generation

  • Hiring Manager Interview (30 mins): Deep dive into past event execution experience, pipeline impact, and operational ownership

  • Final (2 hours): Includes content intuition, behavioral interviews, and a cross-functional conversation with sales leadership
