Barstool Sports is seeking a Finance Intern to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team for the summer. This role provides hands-on experience in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and data analysis, helping to support strategic decision-making across the company. This internship runs from May 26 to August 28 and is a hybrid role based out of our New York office.
What You'll Do- Work with cross-functional teams to track revenue, expenses, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Analyze key financial and operational metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement
- Help develop financial models to assess business performance and support decision-making
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business operations
- Assist with financial systems and AI integration (e.g. Netsuite, Shopify)
- Rising senior pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- Working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets; financial modeling a plus
- Familiarity with financial statements and basic accounting principles
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- A passion for media, sports, and digital entertainment is a plus
Pay Rate: $17.00/hr
