We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intern to assist in the conversion of financial data into a new system over an approx. six-month period. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience at the intersection of finance and technology in a fast-paced environment. The Intern will work closely with Finance, Operations and IT to support accurate and efficient data transfer and validation.Job Description:
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with the mapping and migration of historical and current financial data from legacy systems into the new platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, consistency, and completeness
- Support reconciliation processes by comparing source data to converted records
- Document data conversion steps, findings, and any anomalies encountered
- Participate in testing and quality assurance activities to ensure successful data integration
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive financial and business information
- Provide general administrative support to the project team as needed
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and a willingness to learn
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
