About Us:

At LangChain, our mission is to make intelligent agents ubiquitous. We build the foundation for agent engineering in the real world, helping developers move from prototypes to production-ready AI agents that teams can rely on. We began as widely adopted open-source tools and have grown to also offer a platform for building, evaluating, deploying, and operating agents at scale.

Today, LangChain, LangGraph, LangSmith, and Agent Builder are used by teams shipping real AI products across startups and large enterprises. Millions of developers trust LangChain to power AI teams at companies like Replit, Clay, Coinbase, Workday, Lyft, Cloudflare, Harvey, Rippling, Vanta, and 35% of the Fortune 500.

With $125M raised at Series B from IVP, Sequoia, Benchmark, CapitalG, and Sapphire Ventures, we’re at a stage where we’re continuing to develop new products, growth is accelerating, and all team members have meaningful impact on what we build and how we work together. LangChain is a place where your contributions can shape how this technology shows up in the real world.

About the Role

LangChain is looking for a Flagship Events & Experiences Lead to own and scale our flagship user conference, Interrupt, and define how we bring the LangChain brand to life through world-class experiences.

This is a highly strategic and operational leadership role responsible for building a repeatable, scalable events engine—starting with Interrupt and extending into future global experiences. You will ensure every event not only delivers an exceptional attendee experience, but also drives measurable business outcomes across pipeline, community growth, and brand affinity.

You’ll sit at the center of Marketing, Sales, Developer Relations, Product, and Executive Leadership, acting as the connective tissue that brings our ecosystem together in real life.

We’re looking for someone who can operate at both 30,000 feet and ground level—setting vision, building systems, and executing flawlessly.

What You’ll Do

Own and Scale Interrupt (Flagship User Conference)

Lead the end-to-end strategy and execution of Interrupt, from vision and positioning to on-site experience and post-event impact. Establish Interrupt as the defining event for builders and leaders in AI agents.

Build a Scalable Event Engine

Design and implement repeatable systems, playbooks, and vendor frameworks that allow Interrupt and future events to scale globally without adding operational complexity.

Deliver Operational Excellence

Own execution across all milestones—timeline, vendors, production, content, and on-site experience—ensuring events are delivered on time, on budget, and at the highest quality bar.

Drive Measurable Business Impact

Define success metrics across pipeline, engagement, and community growth. Build reporting frameworks that connect event performance directly to business outcomes and inform future strategy.

Lead Cross-Functional Alignment

Partner closely with Marketing, Sales, DevRel, Product, and Executive teams to align on goals, audience, content, and follow-up strategy. Act as the central driver that removes bottlenecks and accelerates execution.

Own Budget & Vendor Strategy

Manage large-scale event budgets with full accountability. Optimize vendor relationships, negotiate effectively, and ensure efficient allocation of spend with zero overruns.

Enable Regional & Field Teams

Develop standardized tools, templates, and playbooks that empower regional teams to execute high-quality events aligned with the Interrupt brand and experience.

Build Stakeholder Trust

Operate with a high level of transparency and reliability. Provide clear communication, proactive updates, and consistent delivery that builds confidence across leadership.

What We’re Looking For
  • 6+ years of experience in event marketing, experiential marketing, or large-scale conference production

  • Proven experience owning and scaling flagship events or user conferences (1,000+ attendees)

  • Strong track record of delivering events tied to pipeline, revenue, or community growth

  • Deep expertise in event operations, vendor management, and production

  • Experience building repeatable systems and scalable playbooks

  • Exceptional cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage complex, multi-workstream programs

  • Data-driven mindset with experience in event reporting and ROI measurement

  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments

Nice to Have
  • Experience in developing and leading developer-focused events, AI, or technical audiences

  • Background in B2B SaaS or infrastructure companies

  • Familiarity with ABM and field marketing integration

  • Experience working with global events across North America and EMEA

Why This Role Matters

Interrupt is more than an event—it’s where the LangChain ecosystem comes together to build, learn, and shape the future of AI agents.

This role is critical to turning that vision into a scalable, repeatable growth engine for the business.

Compensation & Benefits

We offer competitive compensation that includes base salary, variable compensation for relevant roles, meaningful equity, benefits, and perks. Benefits include things like medical, dental, and vision coverage, flexible vacation, a 401(k) plan, and life insurance. Actual compensation and offerings will vary based on role, level, and location. Team members in the EU, UK, and APAC receive locally competitive benefits aligned with regional norms and regulations.

Compensation: $210,000-250,000
