Job Description

What You Will Be Doing:
The consultant is expected to work with Project Managers, Technical Designers and Developers, and other key stakeholders to identify and document business requirements & design and develop IT solutions.

  • Perform process & data mapping, consult with users to define and document operational processes and translate to application needs.
  • Design, develop, implement, and support algorithms for handling complex business rules and user interactions.
  • Provide recommendations on the nature, scope, and complexity of solutions.
  • Create UML including use case documentation.
  • Integrate UI front-end with existing back end via .Net Framework.
  • Analyze, design and develop applications including Transportation Systems and financial application interfaces using Microsoft Visual Basic
  • Utilize Microsoft visual studio.net, Oracle, SQL Server, IBM DB2 interface using various technologies for Oracle EBS Financial Systems.
  • Analyze, design, code, test, and document all changes.

Qualifications

Skills & Requirements:
Ability to work on several distinct, but related projects. Must be capable of performing system architecture tasks, have excellent analytical skills, and be a proficient coder and writer.
Business knowledge of CNG Stations, FFS Fuel, Gasboy Plus, Compressed Natural Gas Billing (CNG), and Commercial Motor Vehicle Tax / Department of Finance (DOF).
Consultant should demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:

  • Working knowledge of SDLC, Agile.
  • (3-5 Years) High-level experience with Fleet Management Processes and software functions, such as Fleet Management, Work Orders, Fuel Transactions, Vehicle Registration and Repairs, Invoicing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and other functions, through computer systems.
  • (5-10 years) implementing complex vendor software packages, writing project documentation, and directing a team of employees and vendor consultants for projects including, but not limited to: Transportation Operations' Fleet Management System, FleetWave (Chevin product), and financial Interfaces for Oracle EBS and implementation of GPS and Telematics
  • (5-10 years) Strong SQL Server developer in version 2012 and forward
  • (5-10 years) Strong interface development for financial system / application with Oracle EBS Experience.
  • (5-10 years) implementing Data Conversion from SQL Server to FleetWave; at least 1 implementation
  • (5-10 years) experience doing SQL server-side programming including SSRS, stored procedure, view, and DTS/SSIS package creation using Microsoft SQLServer 2005 and 2008R2,2012/14, SSIS and SSRS.
  • (5-10 years) Experience in OOP design and development in Visual Studio 2012 and . Net Framework.
  • (5-10 years) experience doing Client-server development using VB.net or C#
  • (5+ years) Experience in Javascript, XML and jQuery (Tableau, Angular is a plus).
  • (5-10 years) implementing SOX systems and interfaces.
  • (5-10 years) Strong Application Architecture Design
  • (5-10 years) experience writing technical specifications and user documentation.
  • (5-10 years) analyzing and designing complex computer systems.
