About Leap

Leap is one of the fastest-growing benefits solutions and a category-defining pioneer in employer specialty pharmacy. We are reshaping how life-changing therapies are delivered and financed, ensuring patients get the treatment they need while employers finally get a fair deal.

Specialty drugs and infusions represent nearly 10% of all healthcare spend and are the fastest-growing cost category for employers. Leap tackles this challenge with a novel approach: eliminating hidden markups, expanding access to high-quality infusion providers, and bringing clarity and fairness to how therapies are priced and paid for.

We’re proud to partner with numerous Fortune 500 companies and leading TPAs. Each patient we serve creates immediate ROI: lower costs, improved access, and better care. Join us as we redefine what’s possible in specialty care.

About the Role

Leap’s pharmacy program is scaling quickly, and this role will sit near the center of it. You’ll help build the analytical and operational infrastructure that drives durable, measurable savings — from procurement forecasting and pricing intelligence to partner integrations and the tooling that ties it all together.

This is a high-ownership, early-stage role with unusual breadth. You’ll play a foundational role in advancing Leap’s pharmacy infrastructure as the program scales, working cross-functionally with Clinical Ops, Member Growth, and Client Success to build systems that are rigorous, scalable, and commercially effective.

You’ll also work directly with external partners and operate on the front lines of Leap’s sourcing strategy. That includes helping shape partner relationships, supporting key negotiations, and improving the economics and infrastructure behind how Leap procures and delivers care.

You’ll have a front-row seat to some of the most unusual and costly dynamics in U.S. healthcare — and real leverage to help improve them. You’ll join a small, impressive team that moves quickly, operates with urgency, and sets a high bar for ownership.

This role reports to the SVP of Pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities

Analytics & Forecasting

  • Build a 12-month procurement forecast across pricing improvement scenarios

  • Maintain real-time formulary data integrity as drug codes are updated

  • Drive formulary prioritization against highest-impact opportunities

Pharmacy Program Design

  • Define integration paths with procurement partners to unlock lower-cost sourcing

  • Assess new partnership structures across manufacturers, distributors, and specialty pharmacies

Procurement Infrastructure

  • Build an RFP framework to evaluate new rate cards against the formulary

  • Create scalable workflows for ongoing repricing

  • Ensure pricing data is accurate and actionable across Clinical Ops and Client Success

Qualifications

Required:

  • Technically autonomous — you build your own tools and lean heavily on AI to move fast

  • Analytically rigorous — you can design a model, identify the key assumptions, and explain where it breaks

  • Strong framework builder: you turn ambiguous problems into clear trade-offs and structured decision surfaces

  • Systems thinker — you always work toward scalable solutions, not one-off analyses

  • Clear judgment that spans patient experience and commercial impact — you don't treat these as separate

Preferred:

  • Healthcare or pharmacy domain expertise

  • Client-facing experience or comfort navigating external partner relationships

At Leap, we’re building an outlier company with real impact — and that takes focus, energy, and commitment. If that excites you, we’d love to hear from you.
Leap is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applicants from all backgrounds. We’re committed to building a team that reflects a diversity of perspectives, experiences, and identities.
