About the role

We’re looking for a Forward Deployed Infrastructure Engineer who can help us build, deploy and operate Teleskope’s software across various public cloud and on premise scenarios. The universal and flexible nature of Teleskope’s software means we have a diverse customer base across many industries, each with their own deployment requirements. This role is a chance to flex your creativity in developing novel solutions to evolving problems.

As a Forward Deployed Engineer you will be delivering immediate value to Teleskope’s customers. As you work closely with Customer Engineering and the larger engineering team, you’ll be critical in helping Teleskope deliver on its mission of helping our customers catalog and classify their data to prevent security issues before they ever happen.

What you’ll do
  • Lead single-tenant deployments across various clouds and compute configurations.

  • Interface with customers to understand their unique requirements and develop solutions to meet their needs.

  • Monitor and improve key service metrics like availability, scalability, latency, and health across all customer deployments

  • Provide technical troubleshooting support for customer production issues ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption.

  • Become a go-to resource for fine tuning our application for a variety of NVIDIA GPUs across multiple clouds.

  • Occasionally travel to work on site with a customer.

About you
  • 3+ years of experience deploying, managing, and operating scalable infrastructure in AWS, Azure and other public clouds

  • Experienced using Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform

  • A basic understanding of networking especially in a cloud or hybrid environment

  • Proficiency in at least one scripting language

  • Solid knowledge of Linux internals

  • Able to troubleshoot issues and demonstrate a methodical approach to root cause analysis

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; attention to detail

  • BS/BA in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience

  • Must be based in NYC (we work hybrid)
