About Us

Gener8 is reshaping the data ecosystem - empowering individuals to take control of and benefit from their data, while giving partners access to high-quality, fully consent-based behavioral insights.

We’ve built world-class technology to unlock raw, event-level data across LLMs, browsing, and transactions, powering some of the most sophisticated companies in the world.

Our culture is simple: Be fast. Be ambitious. Be accurate.

We move quickly, think big, and hold a high bar for execution.

The Role

We’re hiring a Founding Account Manager, Data Partnerships to help build and scale how we manage, grow, and retain our most strategic customers.

This is not a traditional account management role where you inherit a playbook and manage renewals. This is a builder role.

You’ll own the commercial relationship with some of Gener8’s most important customers across hedge funds, big tech, AI companies, and next-generation data platforms - helping them maximize the value of our data while identifying opportunities to grow the partnership.

You will own the customer journey post-sale: onboarding, adoption, strategic relationship management, renewals, expansion, and identifying new datasets, geographies, and use cases that can create additional value.

Why This Role Matters

You will be one of the first commercial hires shaping what world-class account management looks like at Gener8.

Our customers are building critical products and making major strategic decisions using our data. As our customer base grows, we need someone who can deeply understand how each partner uses our data, become a trusted advisor to their teams, and continuously find ways to make the relationship more valuable.

You won’t just manage accounts - you’ll help turn our largest customers into multi-year, multi-product strategic partnerships.

This is a rare opportunity to build the account management motion from the ground up while directly influencing retention, expansion, product strategy, and revenue growth.

What You’ll Do
  • Own strategic customer relationships: Become the primary commercial partner for Gener8’s largest and most important customers.
  • Drive retention and expansion: Own renewals and proactively grow accounts across datasets, geographies, teams, and new use cases.
  • Maximize customer value: Deeply understand how customers use our data and identify opportunities to improve adoption, outcomes, and ROI.
  • Build executive relationships: Develop strong relationships across product, data, procurement, legal, and executive stakeholders.
  • Identify new opportunities: Turn customer conversations into expansion opportunities, new products, and strategic partnerships.
  • Run complex renewals and expansions: Navigate multi-stakeholder commercial processes and negotiate high-value, multi-year agreements.
  • Build the account management motion: Help define account planning, QBRs, customer health, renewal processes, expansion strategy, and forecasting.
  • Be the voice of the customer: Bring customer feedback, product requests, and emerging use cases back into the business to help shape our roadmap.
  • Act like an owner: Move fast, anticipate issues before they become blockers, and do what it takes to make our customers successful.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in account management, data licensing, strategic partnerships, or complex enterprise relationships
  • Proven track record managing and growing large enterprise accounts and driving meaningful expansion revenue
  • Experience owning renewals and commercial negotiations for high-value, complex contracts
  • Strong understanding of data products, analytics, or digital ecosystems
  • Highly commercial - able to balance customer success with identifying and closing expansion opportunities
  • Builder mindset - you’ve operated in early-stage or high-growth environments and enjoy creating processes from scratch
  • Strong relationship builder who can become a trusted partner to senior stakeholders
  • Excellent communicator, comfortable working across technical, commercial, legal, and executive teams
  • Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable with ambiguity
  • High urgency and high standards

Benefits
  • Be a founding Account Manager: Build the playbook for how we manage and grow strategic customers.
  • Own meaningful relationships: Work directly with some of the most sophisticated companies across AI, technology, finance, and data.
  • Category-defining product: Fully consented, raw behavioral data across LLMs, browsing, and purchases - first in market.
  • Massive expansion opportunity: Our customers can grow across products, datasets, geographies, and use cases.
  • High impact, high upside: Direct influence on retention, expansion revenue, product strategy, and company growth.
  • Fast, ambitious team: No bureaucracy, high expectations, strong execution.
  • If you’re excited about building deep customer relationships, growing strategic partnerships, and helping define how a new category of data scales, this is the role for you.
