About Waniwani
Waniwani is building the AI distribution infrastructure for the $10T services economy. We enable service vendors to sell quote-based services (insurance, financing, wealth, software and more) directly inside LLMs like ChatGPT, where buying decisions are moving, and we are building the agent-to-agent commerce future.
Our first product generated its own type of SaaSpocalypse. We launched the world's first insurance app unlocking quotes in ChatGPT. It triggered a $79B market crash for the world's largest brokers. The press called it "the industry's ChatGPT moment." Now thousands of companies want to deploy their own AI-native storefronts through our infrastructure.
We are global from day one: US, Australia, Middle East, Korea, Europe. Our team is small, the ambition is not.
The role
First growth hire.
Our first marketing initiative was a press release that worked too well: it triggered a $79B market crash for the world's largest brokers, put AI distribution and Waniwani on the agenda of every financial institution's board, and kick-started an intense growth motion. Since then, we have signed partnerships with the most renowned industry players and delivered keynotes on AI distribution to Fortune 500 executives.
But luck is not a playbook. Your role is to build Waniwani's repeatable growth engine from scratch, with content at its core: the posts, the research and the commentary that make insurance leaders think of us first, and the inbound engine that turns that attention into sales meetings. You find the channels that convert, then you scale them.
What success looks like in your first year

  • Qualified leads from our ICP come into our pipeline every week.

  • We publish every week, and people in the industry forward it.

  • Our research on how AI assistants talk about insurance becomes a reference.

  • The growth engine runs and is written down, without you touching every step.

What you'll do

  • Build the growth engine. You won't follow a playbook; you'll write it. Find which channels convert (content, inbound, events, partnerships, outbound), scale them, and hire the team behind them as they prove out.

  • Drive the narrative. Write the stuff people actually want to read: LinkedIn for the company and the founders, market deep-dives, case studies and sharp commentary that prove we are the experts. Every week, on a calendar you own.

  • Open doors with outbound. Build and run the outbound engine to our target insurers, from targeting to sequences, automated with AI.

  • Run experiments and publish them. Find the right experiments on how AI assistants answer insurance questions, run them with our own platform and data, and publish the results as research the industry forwards.

  • Make us visible to AI. Apply GEO on ourselves, and track and grow how often AI models cite Waniwani.

  • Own the inbound engine. Forms, routing, scoring and the handoff to sales in Attio, with a response time sales can count on.

  • Scale through data. If it doesn't move the needle, kill it. Use the numbers to decide where we invest next and which markets we double down on.

What we're looking for

  • Startup veteran. You've built a growth engine from scratch before, ideally in a high-growth startup with a strong inbound motion, when the brand was small and the budget tiny.

  • Sharp content creator. You can write a 3-sentence post that a CEO reshares and a 1,000-word article that industry leaders forward. Bring the pieces you're proudest of and what came out of them.

  • Outbound that books meetings. You've built outbound sequences that got replies from senior buyers and booked meetings, and you can show the numbers.

  • Creative and experimenter. You find the experiments worth running, run them fast, and turn the results into content and decisions.

  • AI-native. AI is in your daily workflow, and you're curious about how models choose what to cite. GEO experience is a plus.

  • Leader and maker. You set the strategy and do the work yourself, and you're ready to hire and lead a team as the engine proves out.

  • Fast domain learner. Insurance or financial services is a plus. If it's new to you, show us how fast you got credible in another regulated industry.

Practicalities

  • Location: New York or Paris.

  • Contract: Full-time.

  • Compensation: to be determined, depending on your profile.

  • Reports to: Robin, CEO.

  • Start: as soon as possible.

  • How we hire: intro call (30 min), a business case with a live session, two calls with the team, then an offer.
