The role
Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Establish and run the talent acquisition function from scratch, working closely with senior leadership. You will source, assess and close candidates for engineering and customer-facing positions while keeping pace with a rapid hiring cadence.
What you'll do
- Own the full recruiting cycle, from sourcing and outreach through interviews and offers, often within a single week.
- Develop creative sourcing strategies to reach strong engineering and customer-facing candidates from high-caliber backgrounds.
- Run a high-volume interview pipeline with several screens a day while keeping a high bar for quality.
- Create repeatable hiring processes, scorecards and playbooks, using an applicant tracking system and AI tools to scale the function.
- Present the company's story and opportunity to candidates in a compelling way.
Requirements
What we're looking for
- Recruiting experience at a recognized, high-growth startup with real traction.
- A strong technical recruiting background, including sourcing and closing engineers.
- Experience recruiting for AI, machine learning and other technical roles.
- A track record as an inventive sourcer who finds candidates through novel channels.
- Self-driven approach to proactively building candidate pipelines.
- Comfort moving at speed, managing high daily call volume and completing an interview cycle in a week.
- Ability to work on-site five days a week, based in or willing to relocate to New York City.

- Experience recruiting for government-related staffing or administrations.

- Base salary: USD 140,000 to 220,000 per year
