Job DescriptionLooking for an FPGA Design Engineer - Consultant to help building a hardware accelerated solutions for its internally developed software at our New York City offices. This candidate will work on a proof of concept project with the goal to offload a highly intense computation routines to an FPGA board and measure the performance advances of the hardware accelerated implementation. Pending the successful implementation of the POC, the candidate will be able to work on the design and implementation of full-fledged FPGA-based solutions.
Scope of work:
The POC will include design and development of a set of modules, synthesis, time verification, and integration with the existing Linux based software and assisting in performance testing of the POC.
Qualifications
· Great communication and collaboration skills, team worker.
· Ability to work in an environment with changing priorities.
· Hands on knowledge in FPGA synthesis, implementation, and timing closure.
· At least 3 years of experience in Verilog-based FPGA design.
· At least 3 years of experience in Altera development environments.
· Practical knowledge in PCIe, DRAM, DMA sub-systems.
· Well versed in using Quartas and ModelSym.
· Basic knowledge in Linux environment.
