Schedule: This is a part-time freelance position, averaging approximately 20–30 hours per month.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Content Development & Corporate Communications
- Draft compelling award nominations, LinkedIn content, and other corporate communications that support Thorne's brand, thought leadership, product innovation, company milestones, and business objectives.
- Ensure all communications are accurate, engaging, and aligned with Thorne's brand voice, messaging, and communications strategy.
- Develop creative content concepts and partner with Creative teams to produce supporting graphics and visual assets.
- Manage Thorne's corporate awards program by maintaining a comprehensive calendar of industry, business, health, wellness, and innovation award opportunities.
- Research and evaluate new award opportunities that align with Thorne's strategic priorities and brand objectives.
- Track submission requirements, deadlines, and supporting materials while coordinating the timely completion of award nominations with internal stakeholders.
- Maintain Thorne's LinkedIn editorial calendar and coordinate content planning to support a consistent publishing cadence.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Communications, Creative, and Organic Social teams to plan, develop, review, and publish content.
- Utilize Wrike and other project management tools to coordinate workflows, monitor project status, and manage approvals, timelines, and deliverables.
- Support communications planning, reporting, and other cross-functional initiatives as needed.
WHAT YOU NEED
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, English, or a related field preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, content marketing, or a related communications role.
- Demonstrated experience writing and submitting award nominations that result in high-quality, compelling submissions.
- Experience managing social media editorial calendars, with LinkedIn experience strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting cross-functional communications, marketing, or brand initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Technical Knowledge
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to adapt messaging for a variety of audiences and communication channels.
- Strong understanding of corporate communications, brand messaging, editorial planning, and content development best practices.
- Experience using Wrike or similar project management platforms to coordinate workflows, timelines, and deliverables.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools required to support communications planning and content development.
